Hotel Swagatam Inn - Hotel in Rajkot - Rajkot, India

I would give a big minus star to this hotel for cheating us and in order to warn everyone. We had booked hotel Swagatam inn in the month of October, 1.5 months prior to our stay due to diwali vacation time via MMT and got a good discount on the booking. On reaching the hotel at 1.30 pm in the scorching heat from a 2.5 hours tiring journey alongwith my 3 years old daughter, they said that they had cancelled the booking and had emailed us, which we searched and searched but never received. On arguing, they gave us a lame reason of renovation happening in the hotel hence the rooms are unavailable. We also told them that we need the room only till 8 pm (only 6 hours stay) as we had a train in the evening. When we told them we will pay the current price, they agreed to give a room!! When we counter questioned them if renovation is going on how can you give us a room which wasn't available just few minutes before they backed off saying rooms aren't available. As it was a peak season, other hotels charged us a bomb as it was last minute booking and it was tedious to get search and get a hotel. MMT did compensate our money back + 25 % refund, but Lot of our time and energy got wasted which cannot be compensated. We then the same evening to verify their false reason made a hoax call to them from another number asking for availability of the room to which Mr. Vimal Vekhadia said that the rooms are very much available & can be booked offline or online. This incidence really showed how we were cheated by this inhospitable hotel and never even bothered that we had a kid with us. Hence, book this hotel on your own risk and spoil your day and eventually the trip on that day.

nice decor of the rooms but almost all bed mattresses have plastic covers on which makes it a little uncomfortable. Breakfast is in the room (the chai is good) Not bad customer service (if you want discount, then you have to book it using app "make my trip") So we did that when we were in the hotel cus they couldn't give us a rate only unless it's booked online.

Hotel location is good. center of Rajkot. 1km from Central bus stop, 2km from Airport. clean room. only problem is break fast they provide only poha and bread butter. Quality is good but qty. not that much. over all its good hotel.

Visited this hotel for 4 time & in comparison to last visits this time stay experience was good. Room was clean & well maintained & staff were helpful & well behaved. Food prices were little bit on expensive side. Wifi connection & speed was good. Had comfortable & good stay.

Very nice hotel, neat and clean rooms, a.c.working very good, front desk staff Mr. Altaf, is very polite and cooperative. Also the service staff is also nice. Location in the heart of city and nearer to bus stand. Food taste awesome and very reasonable. Overall nice stay and I recommend this hotel to solo and family travellers. Hotel Swagatam Inn is situated in middle of city. So very easy to move any area of city from here. Also very near by bus stand, it is just 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel room was clean, service of hotel was good.Food quality was also good.Staff was supportive. Hotel is good for single ..as well as family as location is very good. Over all good experience.

No restaurant. Food coffee tea are brought from outside. Don't know how they got such high ratings. But yes, it scores high on location.absolutely no mobile service in the room. Their own wifi was so weak in the room. One has to come out of their rooms to make calls receive calls, let alone data services.

Room and hotel is clean. Food was not good. They surve rancid tea it's smell so bad. Hotel staff's behavior was good but food items and kitchenware is so dirty. I suggest to change canteen staff then all the things will complete for peoples met needs.
