Hotel Swadisht - Restaurant in Udupi - Udupi, India

This restaurant is in the prime location, around 300 meters from Karavali junction. They have modified seating arrangements recently. Kitchen has been expanded and customer has to go to first floor for dining and it is cubicle kind of seating structure. They have plenty of food options. Shawarma and grilled chicken are famous dishes here. People working here are friendly. Parking space for 5 cars is available in front yard. If it's occupied, you will have to park in the road.

The famous well-known hotel located near the udupi city bus stand and opposite the newly opened jayalakshmi silks. Grilled items and shawarma are good(friends confirmed) In veg soup is good and biryani is also good. Service was a bit slow because of the heavy crowd. Parking becomes a problem as there is not much space in front of the building.

One of Udupi's favourite restaurants. It serves both veg and non-veg delicacies with reasonable prices. They serve simple food with a touch of coastal flavours which makes the food amazing. Their Chinese cuisine and biryani is the most loved. I tried the capsicum chicken which was the best and I would surely recommend everyone to try it. Their chicken biryani (half) was also tasty with a good quantity containing 3 pieces of chicken. The chicken noodles weren't that great. Talking about the service, the service is reasonable i.e it's neither fast nor slow. Even the staffs are friendly. They also recommend to taste you the bestsellers which are definitely tasty. Since I visited the place during a renovation, I wasn't that satisfied with the ambience. But the place is surely going to be great once it's properly renovated. This place is usually crowded so you can contact them beforehand to reserve a table for you.

Swadist, a hidden gem in Udupi, has been my go-to spot for the past three years. It's a fantastic family restaurant, notable for its cleanliness and budget-friendly prices. The staff here are exceptional - the friendliest I've encountered in any Udupi hotel. Their service is top-notch, making every visit memorable. The food is absolutely delightful, with the Chinese combo being a must-try. Swadist is a fantastic place that I highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience

Lot of food colour We ordered chicken saucy laulypop but its colour cant be washed out from hands.. Biriyani is average.. Dont expect too much.. Ambience is ok.. Parking is difficult..

Quantity is very less Cost for biryani is 225/- Biryani turned out sweetish due to more onions It is Sufficient for only one person

1. Order came too late. 2. Full Ghee roast quantity was too less. 3. Both the dishes were tasteless.
