We have visited on yesterday 22.7.23 for weekend but locations is very remote and 2km away from susunia. Ac machine is not working properly. Bathroom door inside lock was broken. Laterine was dirty. This is first and last time for us. There was no similarities between actual picture and website photo. Fake photo was uploaded. Experience not good.

Hotel Red Rock is a charming place. It is a place full of passion and love. I can't forget their love and intimacy. Cost-effective services are available.

Hotel Susunia Redrock Visited: 16th to 17th Dec 2022 (1D/1N) Room cost: Rs.1500 per night Package meal: Rs. 750 If you are choosing this resort for a weekend trip in Bankura to enjoy with your loved ones, then think again! Ambience: 2/5 This resort is situated 30km from Bankura station which takes close to 1 hour. The whole area outside the hotel is soothing with golden grass and the majestic Susunia pahar. Just after entering the hotel, we were disappointed as constructions were going on and also there was no sign of green fields nor any flower beds. Hopefully, with the constructions going on, they will ramp up the ambience. Hens and goose were lurking here and there which was a good thing to watch. Room: 2/5 We booked 2 cottages for 7 heads. If you are a person who loves calm colors in your room (as many would prefer), then the room colors will not satisfy you. The bed just had mattress and thin pillows, so it was very difficult to sleep at night. Neither of the bathrooms had geyser which were promised while booking. However, they did provide bucket of hot water after numerous follow-ups. The bathroom had no privacy as there was no tinted window or any curtains to cover with. This is a major concern especially for ladies. We also had an incident where rat entered our room. So, keep your belongings well packed. Electricity and water was running with no issues. Food: 3/5 Coming to the food, we were in a package system consisting of lunch, dinner and next day's breakfast. The food quality and quantity was good and satisfactory (not the best) considering we had mutton meal in lunch and chicken and roti in dinner. Next day's breakfast we had Luchi-sobji and boiled egg. All are unlimited except for mutton, chicken and egg. However, the mutton was not perfectly boiled so we were having trouble tearing the flesh. In evening, we were served with Chicken pakora which I think is the worst item of all. The chicken portion was too less compared to the coating. Not a major concern but we were told we would be served lunch on clay plates but this was not fulfilled. Service: 2/5 When it comes to service, this hotel needs to improve a lot. Firstly with hot water, they took almost 1 hour to provide us with just 1 bucket of water. We were planning to visit Susunia Pahar at 6:30 am which was delayed as we received tea at approx. 7 am even after several requests. Also in lunch, we didn't even get Chutni which all Bengalis love. Also, we had chicken barbecue in the evening, there also, the roast was not up to the mark. It was stretchy and chewy. Improvements: 1. Service as this is an important aspect when it comes to managing a hotel. 2. Addition of geyser to all rooms. 3. Proper curtains/tinted windows/window covers in bathroom 4. Ambience should be neat and clean. 5. Addition of hooks, hangars in rooms and bathrooms. NOTE: As we were 7 friends and only stayed for one night, we didn't frown upon for most of the things (if not all) but I will be having second thoughts for choosing this hotel if I visit with my family. The owner has a lovable dog (pic below) who just needs love and affection. If you are dog lover, please feel free to show your love. He will not bite XD! The manager was good to us but yes, the service should be improved with priority. Also, when booking, ask for live video of the ambience and the rooms and don't rely on pictures. Overall: 4.5/10 (Not satisfactory)

Absolutely gutted to have stayed here. One of the worst stays of my life. The rooms are full of rats and insects and there's no use of complaints because the management is simply a team of clowns who have no interest except raking up profits and spending it all on booze. The owner is simply a wild animal in a human exterior, left loose to insult people and treat everyone like a rascal including staff and guests alike. The food is absolute shithousery where people having medications are also compelled to suffer by eating sugar-rich food and having dinner as late as about 12. Not to mention the rotten food served very now and then. Now coming to travel, rates fluctuate before and after trip. When protested against it, the owner even threatens to lock all doors so that protestant doesn't leave. So all-in-all, it's a horrible place to be in and better never to visit in your life. NOTE: The annual scam is being promoted again in the name of Holi festival. Please do be aware and don't fall in their trap at all. Better stay in a distant/expensive/cheap alternative, but urging everyone to stay away from this property at all costs.

The owner of this property is an uncivilized and rude person. I booked this property on 25th December and paid 50% of the booking amount in advance. But when I reached the owner failed to provide us with the room I booked. Because he'd already sold it to someone else. He offered us either to stay in staff room or to take refund.His behaviour was totally unprofessional.

The owner ot the property Abir Karmakar is a fraud. I had been there with my spouse on 2nd Oct'22 for three nights paying advance of 2000/-. Forced to leave next morning through the help of another boarder trapped like me, who left in the same morning with his rental car, sent a Toto from a nearby stand(3kms) on my request. We only these two families in the property for two & one night respectively & rest are dubious strangers for few hours with their companions. No locality in radius of next 3kms. All photos of decorated rooms & garden here are false. No maitntainance, register, document checking. No reception, dining hall. No security, no sign board, no entrance gate, boundary wall. Full of rubbish & bushes. Just an ideal khandahar. Poor service in all respect. Tasteless ordinary costliest (@650/- per head per day)food. Uncleaned shabby room with profuse water sippage during rain.Used abusive language during my departure. Partial generator service even during power cut, from 8pm only. Forced us to sit inside the room under complete darknes for 2 hours. Gave two pcs of candles at 7pm after repeated persuation in person, since not responding to phone. Hardly responded to our phone calls during stay. Full of insects, rats, mosquitos, leaches in & around room. Main source income of the property from hour or shift basis room rent to the dubious customers & youths. Forced us to take their car service from Bankura bus stand demanding 1000/-, I paid forcefully 900/-; while reuturnig after three days from a nearby(6kms) beautiful govt. owned guest house, they arranged a car service to Bankura bus depot @ 550/- only. Moreover, did not refund balance Rs.250/- with the excuse 'we had to make them at loss due to cut short of stay for 2 more nights' and was threatening us 'even DM can not do anything'. Lastly, provked two out of three staffs to gherao me for tips. They literally did not allow us to board the Toto until I paid a hundred bucks to them. The owner is a pure cheat & imposter. The conditions of the hotel is very poor. The room rent is very high than facilities. Room conditions even very poor, beds are not comfortable to sleep, smelly blankets. Toiletories like soap/shampoo/Towel does not provide. Food quality is medium. No proper place to park car. They are renovating the whole area, in this situation they should not take any booking or they can reduce the price to half of it's rate.
