Hotel Surya Beach Inn - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

I recently stayed here, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere during my stay. The location of the hotel was also quite nice, offering easy access to nearby attractions and the beach. I believe with some minor improvements in service efficiency, this hotel has the potential to become an even better choice for travellers in the future. While the room and location were great, I did encounter a minor issue with the service being a bit slow at times. However, this did not significantly detract from my overall enjoyment of the stay.

Rooms are okay, having old furniture so expect that they will talk with you :). We booked a suite, it came with 2 double bedrooms. And sea view from this hotel. Any small angle from here and there or from the roof doesn't consider the sea view hotel :). Service - It is worst, don't avail complementary breakfast with room, to your surprise they serve in room no buffet. Cold breakfast served, mostly take 1 hour to serve if take the order. Water problem can be faced mostly after 11 am. They don't take any complaints and do not bother too. Location - 250 MTR from Neiladari beach, opposite to Mayfair. 2.5 km away from Puri beach life. Whenever you need to go to puri beach , be ready to spend 120/- for a full auto. Not many restaurants nearby , very limited food options. Suggestion - just try to get to the hotel at Puri beach to enjoy Puri at its best.

Property is good, rooms are ok, i paid 3500 for two nights, i think it should be less than that, but then in emergency, it is good, also room service is slow, and phone was not working. Bht still i recommend, as it is near to sea, and secondly the staff behaviour is very good, parking is there for two wheelers and four wheelers

Hotel is overall very Good and location is to Good nr beach approx 300 ft also other service's like that vehicles arranged one-way charges from Bhuvneshwar airport to hotel and. for konark is to economical and Honest services

It was Exceptional service provided by the Staff as well as the GM of the Hotel Mr Saroj. We were in the group along with the kids welcomed by staff members. Location is too good to stay peace locality and it's just 300 meter away from beach. Restaurants facilities available in the hotel. Smooth check in and check out process. We delayed 2 hour while check out but still it was smooth. Central AC at lobby, nice room condition well cleaned and maintained.

The amenities were nice but rooms were not cleaned even once during our 2 days stay . Rooms were nice and we got all rooms on the same floor

Dirty room, unhygienic bathroom, dirty blanket. Very poor room service. Room ac sounds like generators. No parking. Very cheap hotel

The hotel is really bad. I booked this hotel for 3 people (myself and my old parents) through MMT. On reaching the hotel, they gave a room which was too small and did not change it even after requesting. The service was very bad and staff is very unprofessional. Since money was paid for 3 customer it is expected from the hotel to provide all amenities for 3 guests. Their bed was for 2 people and bedsheets were also looking dirty and smelling pathetic as if not washed since ages. They gave only two complementary water bottles, tea bags for 2 people, soap for 2 people and there was not even hand-wash in the bathroom. Condition of the bathroom was also unhygienic. For basic needs like water, extra mattress, bedsheet, pillow, towel I had to follow up multiple times with their staff. In morning as well I had to call the room service multiple times for tea bags for which they mentioned there is no staff available and hung up the phone. These are very basic things which every customer would expect. Even if it is last hotel left at Puri, my suggestion is to not to choose this and rather make some other arrangements. I am rating it 1 star as there is no other rating lower than this.
