Hotel Sun Park Ooty - Hotel in Ooty - Kongu Nadu, India

Happened to stay this place few days ago,very dirty ,room was not ready when we reached there at 1 pm ,waited in the lounge for 30 minutes to get the room,finally got the room linen and towels are stinky and not washed...food was ok,advertised as free wifi,in reality no wifi..very bad experience..

experienced nice stay in hotel Sun Park. good hotel for family stay.. Restaurant food is good. one small issue is water heater... it takes 20mins between each bucket heat water... otherwise all are good, nice staffs and excellent experience park, and view from hotel good

(ALERT)Read the review and see the pics before booking room. Its one of worst experience in life, One of family member has booked the hotel from abroad seeing the pics of the hotel. Hotel staffs were very rude and they stole some things (cost less) which was kept open near a CCTV. They actually stole it after seeing it from the CCTV. But this shows the security of the hotel. The rooms were not maintained and the floor were damaged which is unsafe to kids. The rest rooms are without lock so any one peep in. They had used cables to lock one of the room and one is completely without lock. Mirrors are work out and u couldn't find your self in it. The access to hotel is very crooked u cant drive a SUV through the road. Their aim is to make money charging 500 for extra bed in this condition of room is so worst. Around last 36 years I traveled across India and around 25 countries. This is worst hotel I have come across. Very unprofessional staff, terrible service, horrible food, inspite of breakfast included in my tarrif, we had to repeatedly request them to serve us, but the entire staff took no notice, the so called Sheff was asking for tips and liquor. The manager was throughout drunk. This property should be bycotted.

I had a very worst experience actually the location is very bad ,rooms are not clean, bedsheets are really bad,,we saw a broken walls and tiles ,there was no lock for bathroom it's really a bad experience so don't book this hotel

Actually if there is a option to give 0 I wish to give that because if you want a clean place neat rooms Don't choose thisVilla/cottage, very poorly maintained. No drinking water heater or even a glass in room. Soaps were not provided Towels were not provided until we asked. Used bedsheets changed only after we asked them. Only one bulb is working in light remaining bulbs don't work. No exhaust fan in bathroom, hand shower not working looks like bathroom fittings are not changed from decade. Some rooms floor were completely dirty. If they maintain well, this is really a good vintage villa with very spacious rooms. Connecting roads are too narrow, but it's okay... No wifi available.

Very Courteous staff and close proximity to Charing cross. Don't choose Villa/cottage, very poorly maintained. Beds and pillows are almost dead and looks like bathroom fittings are not changed from decade. Bed linens were neat and clean. But floor were completely dirty. If they maintain well, this is really a good vintage villa with very spacious rooms. They have seperate rooms also, they are comparatively good and very spacious. Yes Connecting roads are too narrow, but it's common in Ooty... Accessibility is bit difficult during rainy season

Pros: Rooms are big. Comfy beds; pillows are dead. 15 litre geyser available. TV with cable. Good Parking space. Cons: No drinking water heater in room. Had to ask for it. Soaps were not provided until we asked. Towels were not changed until we asked. Cupboards are old and broken. Switch boards are broken. Only 1 light in the room. Remaining lights don't work. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Approach road to the property is dirty as hell. Open drains and drainage water everywhere. No coffee or tea sachets. Reception is always empty. You need to call them every time. TV remotes don't work.
