Hotel Sumitra - Hotel in Lucknow - Lucknow, India

Good for short stay. Bathrooms needs to be repaired. Hot water is only provided with iron rod that is not safe anyhow.

Although the staff were okay, rooms were infested with bed bugs and mosquitos. Very dingy. Window would not close. The water geyser electrocuted us. Rooms are not cleaned properly.

Everyone around there is helpful and Polite.. Loved to stay. Rooms are Clean. Happy to meet another Ravinder..manager over there. Keep it up

Great rooms in budget, safe for families.

It was a great stay at this Hotel, however I only stayed there for 4-5 hours. The place was wonderful, easily accessible from the train station. Finding the place, the rooms are nice and clean, but the thing that makes this place a great place to stay is the staff .Return everything you have learned about this wonderful Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there and I hope to come back. Location is great, our suite (they upgraded us) was lovely and we had a terrace! YES. The staff is patient and helpful (don't think anyone has ever slept). I wish I could stay longer - the next budget hotel and the more profitable staff ..... and the food prices are good and helpful staff. you can't say that the room was neat and tidy but on this budget it is superb. My stay was excellent. Hotel sumitra is a very nice hotel in Lucknow and close to the charbagh train station. The food was amazing and the hotel staff was cooperative and friendly. The rooms had all the toilets and basic necessities. The service was also good and fast. The employee is completely honest in his or her job of providing nutrition. Believe everything you read about this charming Hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there and I hope to return. The location is perfect, our suite (they upgraded us) was lovely and we had a terrace! WOW. The staff is wonderfuly patient and helpful (don't think any of them ever sleep). Wish I could of stayed longer - next time..........

Excellent rooms, clean linen, good service is what you can expect from budget hotel .The rooms were big clean with clean linen, towel and neat washrooms. The rooms were having all the toiletries and basic fixtures required. The service was also good and prompt. A staff has been extremely sincere in his duty to serve us to our satisfaction. Please don't book for room without TV. It is their servant's room. There is no glass in the window and room is so dirty and pathetic. Mosquitoes were there. They charged it Rs 450/ night which is totally unreasonable and inappropriate. I had booked the same for three days. For two days they accomodate me in a good condition room but for one day I had to stay in that pathetic room. I have shared pictures of both the rooms. Room service is also poor. You have to call them again and again for a service. There are multiple stories in hotel's building but no lift or elevator is there.
