HOTEL SRI RAM - Vegetarian restaurant in Santhiya Nagar, Rameswaram - Ramanathapuram, India

Affordable vegetarian eatery on the way to Rameshwaram. We ordered Roti, Dal Tadka, Idly and Masala dosa. Tasty was average but service was fast.

'Awesome' is the word! This is the place - if you wish to savour typical South Indian food..... We (two families) first visited this small restaurant for a breakfast - just going by the google reviews. But it's real! Hot breakfast was delicious - steaming hot idlis, dosa varieties and matching chutney / sambar. We then ended up visiting again for lunch as well - very delicious South Indian lunch for just Rs 110..... The owner Shri Mari Muthu established his restaurant some 30 years ago, he says. He is running it with his wife (I think her name is Smt Hemalatha....) and with the support of womenfolk staff who were all very very courteous, caring - besides being efficient! It's a small restaurant, but it is maintained very neat and clean and very hygienic ("size does matter...." need not be necessarily true always

Semma melas. Had lunch on the way to Kalam memorial. Very good quality, taste. Morning and afternoon only open. No night time dinner. To mention Payasam was super tasty. 110 for meals unlimited.. parking place available for car bus..

We went there around 3:15pm for lunch on Saturday. The place was soo crowded and they said it would take some time for lunch to be prepared as the previous batch of food got over.. They had only meals as we went very late.we got our seats after 10 mins. We were provided with 2 Vegetables,1 kootu, 1 chutney and pappad for side dish. The rice served was piping hot And also sambhar,puli kuzhambu,rasam and buttermilk was tasty than expected for a tourist place.. The service person over there was so kind and fast enough and also refilled the side dishes as soon as we ate. A good satisfactory meal in a tourist place A meal costs Rs110 and it's unlimited

After a visit to Dr. Kalam Memorial, we stopped here for lunch (only because our cab driver insisted) and boy were we surprised. The Veg meals was simply amazing. Taste and quality were simply outstanding. Highly recommend this place for a good lunch in Rameshwaram.

Good food can be taken here in Hotel Sri Ram. We really enjoyed lunch with our family. Fresh and tasty food with affordable prize . Also it has neat toilet facilities too long traveller can opt this place.
