Hotel Sri Muruga Bavan - Family restaurant in Thoppur - Dharmapuri, India

Hotel Sri Muruga Bavan - Located in Thoppur, between Thoppur to bommidi road. As this is little detour from highway not many people know the place. Just 250 meters from the main road. Worth the detour. There is no private parking facility. It's just street parking. it's easy to find parking space on streets. Those who want to try out new places other than A2B, Saravana Bhavans, can try out here. Small place, homely taste and budget friendly. It's a Non A/c Small Restaurant and offers very tasty vegetarian food. The taste is good, service was good. A homely ambiance on the negative side not good rest rooms. I would recommend - butter ghee roast parota with kurma / Poori masala / onion uttapam and Pongal. I personally have no count on my visit, so many times - I have visited - still the same old taste. Must try if passing through Thoppur.

A 4 pointer. It had a great Ghee Masala Dosa earlier. But doesn't taste the same these days. But still a good hotel if you are passing via Thoppur. Economic as well

A traditional village restaurant with a family touch. The Ghee roast varieties are fous here. But the sambar and chutney varieties need upgradation.

The owner dislikes giving back the change for the excess amount paid,if u r careless he will charge high amount, such a greedy person,arrogant, attitude guy. A conman in disguise.10yrs back somewhat good, nowadays going downhill. They don't even have a handwash even after this much years of service,ample Vanaspati used. I stopped going. Charging like Saravana bhavan.

Food quality and their response is really good.. small hotel but the best vegetarian food in Salem-Hosur highway...just few meters inside from highway road.
