A reasonably good restaurant in this route. Ample parking area. Easy to notice if you are searching for it but may overlook during a drive. Plenty of seats, even large groups often drops in. Clean to the extent of local comparison.
Staff is well behaved. We had lunch here on our way, the mysore masala dosa was a little bit salty and the chilly paneer was not hot it is supposed to be but not so bad, it was ok ! I liked the staff and service.
I might be wrong, but on visiting the place on 15-11-23 being from Gujarat, we had ordered paneer sabji, taste was not upto the mark. Even the butter milk (chhas) was tasted something different. We didn't enjoy the food.
An average place But you can find this place easily while traveling Prefer if you are looking for a quick destination for food
The pineapple kesaribath is a must try item.. Yellowish in colour and it sports a nice aroma of the pineapple and makes eating every bite pleasure.... U ve Pongal, idli, Masala dosa, uddinvada and rice bath...and more.. A pit stop u can make while in Gundulpet..... Either way towards Ooty or Calicut......
We stopped for a dinner at this restaurant which is very conveniently located on the Mysore Bandipur highway in Gundalpet. Food was ok. We ordered Veg kolhapuri which was very spicy. Dal tadka, which was made of moong dal. Tandoori roti was good. Ghee rice had lots of oil and was very bland. Overall bill was around 500//- There is a souvenir shop beside the restaurant and on the first floor there are rooms.
The hotel is on the highway and the food quality is decent when compared to other places in the area and it's very easy to locate as it's very close to the highway.
Food was average. I had masal dosa. Very average taste
