Hotel Solar - Kerala restaurant in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

I've tried their mandhi...food was good and worthy...but the service was pretty bad.. anyways I was okay about food!!..They charges 320RS for chicken mandhi Half portion.

Tried their Beef biriyani.. Overall It was good Beef piece was tender and Good but the rice was average

This place is synonymous with the delicious food that can satisfy all food cravings. Decent food at reasonable price range . Great and spacious dine-in space . A bit crowded at noon time .The staffs and the management are friendly . They got fast door delivery options too . Has a amble parking space in front hotel itself . Overall it's a great restaurant to visit with family and friends . :)

BDF was must try but now the taste is not upto the mark

Solar's Beef biriyani !! . . . Solar is a place I've been wanting to visit since ages as my colleagues wouldn't stop raving about the beef dishes here ! Not a fancy place but just like any other regular restaurant, has two sections AC and Non AC with decent number of seating.Beef and porotta here is as famous as Paragon's fish mango curry and porotta. . . . Talking about the beef biriyani here, the rice is cooked nice and soft with the flavour of the beef lingering in your taste buds. The meat was extremely soft and tender , cooked right not making it chewy. But if you ask me if its the best beef biriyani I've had, I'd be confused as I find KBC beef biriyani equally good or probably a little better than Solar biriyani.

Had lunch at this place. Will give 7/10 rating for this restaurant.

Hotel solar. I had an acting Camp from the hotel and it was conducted at the Hall Of the hotel This hall was so small that it can only accommodate more than 20 50 people and we were only 20 people participating in the camp and it was to Fun about the place we had food from the same hotel and the food of their I ordered biryani a little bit busy that the chicken was not that boiled and it has to be more impressive and more improvised other than that the food of there was amazing rice has a great consistency an amount in quality quantity except because sometimes rice come small and little but chicken comes bigger one. So totally the place was amazing good for meeting

Quality food, authentic taste, cheaper rates. Neat and clean. Good ambience.great value for your money..hotel has an air-conditioned hall with 30 chairs for small function or party.. also there is a small prayer room with wash facility.
