Hotel SKML Grand - Hotel in Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatanam, India

I stayed here for 4 days in Aug 2023. Hotel charged 1800 for 3 Adults. Rooms are large sized with sofa, chairs and table, safe deposit locker, large cupboard. Bed is also king size. Room and bathroom were neat and clean. Hot water is available round the clock. The only concern is the AC which is controlled by the reception counter. During the late night hours, the reception person will switch off the AC compressor hence AC will run on fan mode without any cooling. This point was mentioned to the reception person. Overall a decent place except for the above mentioned point for AC.

Iam booked in online check in time 10am. but iam reached to hotel for check in 7:30am. staff asking extra money for early check in 500/-, if amount not give they staff not allowed early check in, Worst service lift not working at morning time, A/C not working, room not cleaned, cockroach there, wash bin not clean hair there. Approach to reception they people not responding. Not worth for official business people for this hotel stay.

Worst decision to book here. The hotel is nearby Visakhapatnam Railway station from Gate no. 1. Although the location seems to be suitable, there are way too many cons. The staff are least bothered to help or respond, their faces were irritated, they just escorted us to the room and left without any information or help. We called reception 5-7 times back-to-back and in intervals, but there's no response. While check-out the staff members boldly ask for tips even though they didn't attend us even a single time.

Good property but inadequate maintenance and untrained staff. If you can push the staff the right way, you got a good stay.

This hotel is prime location and and helpfully staffs. Daily cleaning rooms .Provide bath shop /Shampoos

I've stayed in this hotel for 3 times. 1. The rooms became worn out over the course of years 2. There are cockroaches in the room 3. Sheets are not clean 4. They say they don't give plates to room if outside food is ordered 5. You need to ask everything twice for them to respond. I asked towel once but they didn't provide. I have to ask AC remote twice for them to respond and provide. 6. Towel, AC and TV are not available when you enter the room and you need to request it twice for them to provide. Neatness can be hugely improved.

There was a little problem with electricity, though the hotel staff turned on the generator quite quickly. Otherwise quite a good hotel.
