This place don't deserve any star rating..... Nothing is good about this place.... sbkuch ghttiyaa.... Hotel owner and his wife Sandhya gupta is very ill mannered.... Most dirty and worst hotel in gangtok... which can destroy your beautiful holidays...

The worst hotel in town, very poor service, poor quality room and belongings, bathroom flash not workable and dirty, bad smell in the entire room. Don't consider yourself within this budget in this hotel, you will find v good hotels in this price range

on 14 June 2019 I check in hotel Siddharth, gangtok and I was really scared to stay there because of the staff behaviour especially hotel manager and lady staff who is totally want to harrassed me while I opposed regarding room horrible condition and totally very very poor room condition . the curtains and bed sheet and pillow cover and water and other service was totally too much cheaper and poor that poorer . especially the behaviour of the hotel staff was really scary for a gentle man and you can't sacrifice with the hotel services . the room are really horrible . also the rooms are totally full of bugs and mosquitoes. the hotel is not providing minimal service to the guest .

Worst service imaginable. Hotel was located in an alley beside MG Marg. Have to take a stairway to reach. Hotel is one of the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. Bedsheets was not clean. They took 2 days to change our bedsheet. They claim that they serve bengali cuisine BUT No fooding option was available(even bed tea). Front Office was clueless about everything. We booked two delux double bedded rooms. Several plug outlets weren't working. There was one basin which weren't working. Water was not regular. They run the motor when they feel like it completely ignoring guest needs. Bathrooms stinks. Staff was rude. When we asked to take our luggage to a nearby(200 meter) taxi stand the boy declined and used slangs and bad mouthed us in front of the front office. The manager did not utter a word. Do yourself a favor and don't book this hotel. There are plenty others far better than Hotel Siddharth. Steps are high so aged people may have a problem climbing the stairs. Only two room of the top floor has view. Dirtiest hotel with disfunction bathroom. Won't reccomend if visiting with a child. No fooding was available. Etc. Etc.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. First of all I chose that hotel because of its location near to M G Market but when I called hotel to ask address, they told that Hotel Siddharth is not available, you go to Hotel Himalayas. Himalayas is far from MG Market. I checked in in Himalayas where there was no Room service, dirty rooms, dirty walls, no phone, No Kettle, No working Geyser ( We have to check Out without Bath). Hotel manager (Lady, Namrata (Truecaller Name)) was very rude and staff was even more rude. At the time of check out (6:30 AM, already informed about early check-out during Check-in) staff denied to take out luggage from Room to Taxi. I have to take two big Bags from 2nd floor. On top of that, staff asked for Rs. 20 for xerox of my Ids. When I denied, Lady manager asked me to go out and take xerox. After sometime, one male manager came and understood the issue and told we will take xerox. What a silly thing... I won't recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

It's basically a saver hotel. So you have to keep some of the major things in your mind regarding cleanliness and a spacious room for a better stay. Most importantly the location of this hotel is quite a steal at this price range. Overall I would recommend if your stay is just for a night.

Place is not that much good. It is in mg marg but the rooms are not good. Those rooms are very much dirty. In peak time they are charging 1500 to 2000 for a double bed room but the quality of that room is not even 500. Washrooms are not good. Beds lookss very much dirty. When you enter a room, you will get a not good smell. rooms are not proper organized. For everything you have to ask them to give.

they acceptes i take shower on other room, because no hot water on the budget room ( maybe should protect electricite for safety?). one of the staff was very nice, the other looked anthipatic and don't understand english at begining, intrusive.. also nice when After long time he understand je mistoke. the gloire and bedsheets are dirty to occidental eyes but you Can take towels n'est reception, and put them on bed and floor ok for good price and wonderfull location, just maybe less 100 meters dtaird from mg marg, the nice touristic avenue without cars but close to most taxi stations and mal market
