Hotel Shivam international - Hotel in New Delhi - Central, India

Hotel location is not good, but location was something I didn't care. Had booked it via MakeMyTrip. Asked the receptionist over call for early morning check-in (as I was traveling with Family), he said all will be fine. Upon reaching morning main receptionist told us no room empty, so they offered us to take rest on sofa around. He then asked another assistant guy (who was sleeping on one of the sofa) to wake up and manage the counter. When my sister tried to rest on the sofa that guy was sleeping, the arrogant staff immediately shouted at her "so mat, yeh sone ko jagah nhi hai". That tempered me, I with family immediately took exit from hotel and cancelled the booking from MakeMyTrip. Won't ever recommend it to any.

Hotel Executive Mr. Rahul Sharma is a fraud. I paid advance 1000/- , after that Mr Rahul Asked to pay more . I have total paid 5000/- wrongly against my 2000/- booking amount, but he didn't give me refund and also he didn't give me booking confirmation.

Upon my arrival at around 11:30 PM, the receptionist informed me that I would be staying at a different hotel called Akash International Dx, which was located nearby. Unfortunately, the room assigned to me at Akash International Dx was on the third floor and could only be accessed by stairs as there was no elevator available. However, the receptionist offered me an air-conditioned room on the first floor for an additional charge of 300 rupees, to which I agreed. The following morning, the hotel turned off the AC, which was disappointing. There were further inconveniences as there was no hot water available and the shower was not functioning properly. These issues detracted from an otherwise decent experience. On a positive note, the hotel staff's behavior was polite, and the hotel's location near the main road was convenient.

The hotel was good but the Location was inside the inner lanes of Paharganj. As we were traveling with family felt concerns over safety. Overall ok place for male only travellers but not recommended for family or couples.

Rooms are ok, room service good, but there are basic amenities which are not there like hot water and lift facilities

The hotel is situated amidst the market and is definitely not good. The receptionist was arrogant and the rooms sucked. There were stains on the blankets, bed and pillow. The room was quite small, cigarette smells everywhere. Not worth the money at all. Ofcourse, if one wants to have a bad stay experience, please go. It's not a place for a good family or couple to visit.

bedsheet was dirty. i asked for replacement and manager said all the bedsheets are in laundry. i was not given the bedside which i booked. i booked the ac room and ac was not working, i had to come in night around 11.45 pm to check manager, the he said, you have to inform us , if you need ac. when i started my bath, i realized that there was no towel in the bathroom or room . there was no view in the hotel room as mentioned in advertisement. many tambaaku stains in the room wall. there was a ashtray in anon-smoking room and maybe someone smoke in the room before i checked in. ashtray was not cleaned also. also that area is not safe, just 20 meters from the hotel. overall it was a very bad experience.

Probably it's the best amd value for money hotel I've come through in paharganj. It was my 2nd stay here as a couple. They also provide free water for which other hotels charge. There non ac rooms are a little cozy. But overall I'll recommend it to you and stay out to late. For service u can call on 9 on telephone.
