Hotel Shiva Palace - Hotel in Sivasagar - Sivasagar, India

It's said to be one of the best hotel in Sivsagar and is located in the heart of Sivsagar city near the ASTC bus stand. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. They have an in-house restaurant to serve the guests. The quality of the food is good and the breakfast was excellent. The service and behaviour of the staff was great. The overall experience was good but I felt the prices of rooms and food to bit on the higher side if compared with the amenities and services provided.

One of the 3rd class hotel in Sivasagar the manager of the hotel don't know how to behave to customer, Atithi Debo vaba, i have enquiry thier hotel rooms pric through phone call he talked very rude, offer room price very high without any facilities whenever I have visited Sivasagar always stayed thier through online booking but this when I called them offline the manager behaviour is very rude don't know to talk with the customers don't know why the hotel management appointed this type of staffs who destroying thier hotel reputation i am working in corporate sector from today onwards i will never stay this hotel and even spreading to all my collogues and corporate releted people's.

This hotel is located at the heart of Sivasagar city in AT Road near to ASTC and Station Chariali. Rooms are quite nice and spacious. The hotel has a restaurant named Sky Chef to serve the guests. Parking space is available. Staff are friendly and cooperative. There is a gymnasium as well as a bar in the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is served to the guests. Room tariff is reasonable. You can have a warm and pleasant stay here. Recommended for family.

Very good experience.. Quite big room.. clean.. our bathroom had pillar on a side which other rooms maynot have.. otherwise clean. Good location.. walking distance to ASTC Bus stand. Good restaurants nearby incl KFC and US Pizza

Excellent room with sparkling clean washroom (as someone very fussy about sanitation I appreciate this very much), the food and room service were quite decent, behaviour of staff was also nice. It's slightly pricier than other options but fully justifies it in comfort.

There should be zero star option also. They 4800 per night but no dental kit, no wifi . Food cost are very high. Plain dal cost is 240 . I am travelling across india and this was the worst experience ever had

The hotel is quite big with many no.s of rooms, some of which are spacious and some aren't. I stayed there in the month of December 2018 with one of my colleagues. Overall what I can give some feedbacks from my side are, 1. The bathroom was very unclean and was not properly maintained, in short it wasn't for guest lodging. 2. The room's design is quite indisciplined. You have to survive and adjust the things a lot to charge your mobile and laptop. 3. The response and behaviour of the reception stuffs was not good. But the room service guy who brought the food for us was good. 4. The foods on the other hand was very delicious (even I forgot to capture the photos :-p lol). 4. Firstly and most importantly, we must always remember that "First impression is the last impression". Upon arrival, the first experience which I had was not good. The hotel staff at the reception, are not courteous towards the guests. They are extremely rude and rather inept at their job. Getting the room ready, despite having informed beforehand, took nearly an hour. There is no seating arrangement, guests have to keep standing until the hotel staff decide the room is ready. Billing process during checkout took an hour as well. This was also along the same lines as the check-in experience: despite having informed them on the night before, they did not keep the bill ready. Facilities provided are good, but definitely not up to the mark for the price being charged. The elevator is not working, hence the guests have to take the stairs and carry their luggage by themselves. I had a room allotted in the second floor, so double the trouble in my case. The room, although clean enough and equipped with a well-functioning AC and television, had the following shortcomings: 1. Bedsheet was not clean and had oil marks 2. Mosquito repellent machine was not provided 3. Intercom was not working 4. Non functional mini fridge 5. Bathroom does not have very modern equipments 6. Shower was not working 7. Blanket provided was dirty and left in an unfolded pile inside the cupboard My recommendation: Please consider other alternatives if you expect: 1. Value for money 2. Good hospitality - to be greeted by good and courteous staff 3. Facilities like elevator, porters, etc.
