One of the oldest and finest restaurant in Adajan area. Very nice ambiance on the first floor i.e. the main dining area of the restaurant. Food quality is very good. You will get punjabi, South Indian, chinese and fast-food categories of food items. Food quality is very good. Staff members are very polite and service oriented. Quick and quality service is there speciality. Rates are in line with the other restaurants in same category of business. They also have small party hall for around 25-30 people. Location is also very convenient. It is main road touch near Gujarat Gas Circle. Best place to have family dinner and small party.
The quality of food has been maintained ever since the beginning. It's been more than a decade since it opened & the taste & quality is still very good.but service is very poor

Hotel Shiv Mahal started well off; however later on they have become average in hospitality and food. It's a pity they cannot even share a friendly smile and talk with the customers over food and service. They need to learn from the nearby restaurant Munch and More that is top-notch in hospitality, food and ambiance. It's important to treat the customers not as money making machines but as human beings with whom you establish good rapport. Overall average. Needs improvement.
