Hotel Shilpa Regency - Hotel in Kottarakkara - Kollam, India

We were very impressed with the service and hospitality of the front desk and other folks throughout this hotel. They were extremely accommodating and professional throughout our entire stay. They also had great hot water for the showers which was nice after a few days of having to do room temperature baths. The tub shower area was a little outdated and discolored which was a turnoff for the kids but overall not bad. We had a two room suite with an additional bed added in the living area. They also offer laundering service but be warned that it is fairly high priced (My partner joke that we could have just bought new clothes for the amount of laundering fees).

Had break fast from there . Very good parotta and appam Egg roast and curry were really good. For the ambience and neatness ..it's absolutely value for money..(except tea..40) But appam and barotta just 12.. Egg dishes 100. 2 eggs per dish.. I think it needs more publicity.. sinse it's worth it . A small change from the traditional ich and aaryas..nothing against them. But a good change option .. not crowded and ample space for parking

Overpriced for the poor service. Most dishes not available. Lime juice cost 70. Could hardly tase any lime. The maximum I paid for Lime juice was 50 in ernakulam and it was worth it

Very nice for small get together like reunion meet of ours with 20-30 batchmates of 1972-75 Botany (main), St. John's College, Anchal, and family spending a couple of hours!

Decent stay with neat rooms .Restroom needs improvement. Foods were of decent variety and tasty too. Service was good and prompt. Staffs were very cordial. Special mention to Mr. Rishy. Overall its a pleasant experience staying here.

Excellent food ...we had a very good breakfast here
