HOTEL SHIKHAR, Etah - Hotel in Etah - Etah, India

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! NEVER COMING BACK EVEN IN THE WORST SITUATION. Checked in during afternoon. The room looked average. it required some dusting so i requested same at the reception. Got off to work and came back during evening and found that the room floor had gotten covered with wood dust (wood work was being done on the floor) that had came from below the door, requested cleanup. The reception guy assured to send someone but NO ONE EVER TURNED UP. Apparently the cleaning guy had gone home and would only come next day. To add to this horror only one power outlet in the room was functional. There were a few mosquitoes in the room and the all-out machine was faulty. AND THERE WERE SMALL COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM. As it was late at night I somehow managed but hardly got few hours of sleep. They are charging a lot more for the service(ZERO) they provide. One could easily get a far better hotel room as the same price.

The room was spacious (i guess it was a deluxe room) and the staffs were cordial. Room service was also prompt. The restaurant served good food. Only things was that the room could have been a bit cleaner. Also my room faced the main road so there was noise from the honking of vehicles. Overall, it was a decent experience.

hotel is bit costlier as per basic room 2 other hotel nearby have same rooms and also provide discounts. service is okay and food is good from other joints available. need renovation and new bedsheets and blankets they are old. staff is supportive and helps but slow.. facing street rooms are not sound proof so you can hear outside buses horn and sound that's horrible thing... ok safe for solo male Traveller not very couple friendly place.

it's a great hotel to stay in Etah. the location of the hotel makes it more attractive. the staff is very cool and delivers the service to guests even at odd hours. to top it , the price makes it a crazy deal !!! so don't miss it if you are coming to Etah .....

Food here is very good and also has a reasonable rate. In place like this you really have very less options and this is the best option at this location. Though the people that serve food here are not good at talking but the hotels has wide range of food variety and it tastes very good.

Service is very good,staff behavior is good and gentle. Food quality is good. Cleaning of toilet and beding is also good.
