Hotel Shikhar(An RTDC Initiative) - Hotel in Mount Abu - Sirohi, India

Located in the middle of Mt. Abu has a very serene ambiance. The staff of restaurant and room service is very cooperative. With limited staff they are doing their best. The morning breakfast and dinner are tasty and give you a homely feel. The AC superior room is clean with adequate hot water facility for cold climate. The washroom are clean and well maintained. The only thing to improve is the outside look of the building. It should get painted well for better look. Rooms are painted well but at one or two places small patches come off due to dampness. Over all it is Great value for money especially when they offer a package of room + breakfast + dinner !

The hotel's location is good. But the furniture in the non-AC rooms was damaged by termites, so don't anticipate cleanliness. You should nevertheless inspect the rooms and surrounding area before booking because they are very dirty. Breakfast and Dinner were complimentary.

Spacious property located at a peaceful place, a few metres above the abu town road near petrol pump. But moisture on every wall. They can improve the ambience by maintenance. However, hats off to the staff. They are working against all odds and helping the guests. Intercom can be provided instead of buzzer to avoid unnecessary up and down room service staff.

We were in a doubt after reading reviews. But after check-in, I did not justify those negative reviews. Rooms were good, food was also nice, room service was also good, staff were helpful and polite especially, Mr. Hitesh. They also provide discount to Govt. Employees. Overall, it was nice experience and you won't find a better option at this price range.

The hotel was located in a very beautiful place but the hotel management and the service was very poor and worse. There were damps on the wall and the paint had peeled off. Same situation for the washroom also. There were leaks in the pipe and the water was flowing simultaneously in the washroom and damps were also present there. Even the service was also very poor.

Rajasthan government owned property. Location of the property is very good at the top of the Shikhar. Renovation of the location will made it more attractive and comfortable for tourists. If you are looking for fixed priced hotel in Mount Abu you can go for this place.

If you really have the No option to stay anywhere else in Mount Abu then book this hotel. There was no intercom, rooms were average and the walls had paint coming off, heater was not working, for room service has to go to reception everytime. Very very old hotel and not maintained. Need a lot of improvements in service, hygiene and staff.

Very poorly maintained at all level it a bad spot on Rajasthan tourism. Building, furniture, utensils, kitchen, surrounding need attention. But locals management has best excuse to convince their bosses. Please don't stay many hotels Are available at same price, you need to plan before to get those hotels.
