Booked this hotel in emergency as had to quit the pre booked grand Boulevard hotel due to dispute. It was only 1700 per room, stayed for one night. No food, drinks served here. Though good eateries at just 7-8 mins walking distance. What i disliked, they didn't gave us towels, pressed on tip and showed anger and felt insulted when he found one of our bag he put in the taxi was full of shoes. Good for one night stay only.keep some eatables with u as nothing available after 9:30_10pm
Room rates are reasonable... Location is good... However no proper backup for power failure.... I would suggest to try instead Hotel International which is very near to said hotel.
It's a very good hotel for stay with family and situated in a posh area and cool and calm in nature. 'Sheeshmahal' is not only a few stepped ahead from Dal Lake but also well connected with the other areas of the city. It is partinent to mention that the behaviour of the stuffs are friendly in nature and they are polite, helpful and very co-operative.

This is a good budget hotel located near Dal lake Srinagar. Service staff is polite n friendly nature, safe to stay with family as well.

nice hotel with good location. but there is one problem... no generator in hotel ... they must have inverter. but by this we can use only CFL ... we can't use fan, not a single mobile charging point works....so totally bad experience. I asked for charging my mobile to hotel staff. they said we are unable to do anything. I called Goibibo for this problem.. thereafter Goibibo's representative said that hotel manager will soon get in touch with you with solution. but then also nobody came to me. and I checked out with my switch off mobile...thus I was missed several important calls ........
Worst Hotel in Dal Gate. Everytime they intentionally put off the electricity. Before check in they promised they will provide Room Heater but after check in they are saying it's chargeable. Water gyser is also not in a serviceable condition. Not suggest able to stay here.
