Hotel Shantila Inn - Hotel in Prayagraj - Prayagraj, India

Location was not shared properly both by oyo and the hotel, I called up several times from the railway station but the manager of the hotel ( to whom I had asked to share the location details one day prior to leaving for Allahabad did not provide any details ) did not respond , hotel staff was not receptive, the deluxe room had no intercom so for even getting towel , soap, etc each time we had to go to the ground floor from second floor, the TV in the room was not working owing to non-recharge, there was no water running in the washroom and despite telling it to the reception no arrangements were made and I had to leave without bathing.... The ac was not running properly .... When the water supply got restored in the evening when we came back to the room, it was piping hot and could not be used. Earlier even before checking in the room, the person at the reception insisted for INR 400 as 30% early check in amount ( even though full payment for the day was already made) , but when we gave the card it was not accepted as only cash was demanded. The almirah provided in the room did not open and close properly.... We checked in on 22-05-2023 around 7:30 am and checked out the same day around 7:20 pm . When we checked out the, manager ( Vikas) was present and got dumbfounded on our complaints as he cross checked with his staff on the same in front of ourselves.Thereafter shamefully still he demanded INR 400 and told that his staff do not have know how to take payment via card so we're demanding cash. 30% of 1163 makes it INR 349 only so why is he demanding INR 400 - he had no answer for the same, We paid INR 350 and left the hotel in utter disgust. Earlier in the evening we spoke on our unpleasant experience at the hotel with one Charanjeet at Oyo customer care but despite giving compendious details to him for over half an hour it was exasperating to continue talking to him. All in all it was an utterly horrendous experience for us all around. We want to be compensated by OYO for this utterly horrendous experience

Very bad experience don't go with photos or on call room details ..ac broken ..chipped wall ..no tv functioning ...bad smell of attached washroom ...first check the room condition then do the bill payment .

Third class property no service complete non sense place not hygiene no cleanliness never go for this property at any cost. It is our bad luck we book this hotel through oyo. Oyo is completely irresponsible company and no feedback of hotel. Never go for Oyo and this hotel.also.

Don't book it from Oyo. They charged extra money when you reached there. Oyo only shows attractive prices for booking but when you reached the price changes drastically.

Worst service. Very small room. Photos upload by hotel are imaginary. Mostly rooms are 8*8 without toilet

Room and bathrooms were not properly cleaned no dusting bedsheet was very dirty

Never believe the ratings.... Worst experience ever in any room. AC not working, you can't get relaxed because of outside noise. You will not feel like staying in hotel. It's a marriage hall. They charged me extra. The property manager forced us to empty the room in just 5 minutes at 9 am itself and offered a bit of refund but after checkout, he denied and said he didn't offer me such thing. They are totally fraud. Fan speed is too slow, and it's position is such that you won't get air on your bed. Mattress is not good. I suggest not to visit this hotel in any condition.
