Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Shams Inn. Great location and a smooth booking experience through Agoda with a special offer. However, the room price was a tad high. Despite that, the overall experience was positive.
One of the worst worst hotel. I wish to give negative star. The guy in the reception was very rude. He behaved like the owner of the hotel. The bed sheet were smelling of cigarettes. Disgusting smell. I have no idea how people are giving good reviews. This is a lodge not a hotel. They are in the service road. No auto or taxi will come there.
We stayed at hotel on 26th and 27th Oct. Staff at hotel sham doesn't care about customers at all especially the person sitting at day time at reception. They are just sitting there and taking salary for free. We asked for hot water 5 times and they literally didn't care. Pathetic!! No cleaning or towel provided at hotel. There is no restaurant. Owner- Please remove ur unprofessional/ lazy staff otherwise people r not going to come again at ur hotel for sure.
Had to ask about toiletries to be provided. Had problem with mosquitoes even though they provided a Good Day mosquito repellent in the room. And power cuts were there frequently. I had the standard room on the ground floor.
Rooms were good. soap shampoo etc were given. tea maker also given. overeall nice experience. stafs were good. minimal documentation. bed sheet is kind of kind. sheets were good but it has some stains.

Only an average hotel. not worth the 3 star rating.l personally have booked a/c deluxe room but the room was small, sort of a congestion inside. Bathrooms are also congested with high seated toilets and a tight bath area. The room and toilet are visibly clean but full of dust.The floor was sticky, the bathroom drain clogged. Overall, the hotel is not at all worth it for the 3 star room rates they are charging. Not returning to the hotel again. Note that the check out time is not 12pm as mentioned, it's 11 am. The room would have been adjustable if it was a lodge and pricing similar to a lodge. Since it is tagged as 3 star and priced higher, I would not recommend this hotel.
Its a best hotel to stay in kochi with reasonable tariff . I am well satisfied about their service and happy to stay their. Wish u all success in your future
