My stay at Hotel Sambala in Darjeeling in 2021 was truly exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for its best-in-class rooms and delicious food. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. It was an unforgettable experience with friends, and I can't wait to visit again.
Since I booked this hotel from online but the pictures provided us which is not same with the original rooms bathroom and all.All though the behaviour of the staff is very very worst and the manager also. The manager was drunk and giving slang loudly we faced a hectic trouble. Very very worst hotel we will never visit again,Disgusting service.Very bad
This was my worst dream which i saw for 3 days straight, the owner is just simply making money by fooling tourists around. The property has nothing just nothing, i just can't elaborate my worst days spent here. Starting from day 1 no room service no proper management, rooms are dirty as hell, bathrooms are worse than public toilets, behavioural issue, old and used bedsheets, in the name of cleanliness its a -1/100, the caretaker is so rude that we almost had a fight. Literally a Bad dream, i urge to darjeeling hotel association members to visit the property and close it.

Pathetic Hotel, Pathetic Staff, Pathetic Management. Please DO NOT EVER VISIT AND STAY IN THIS HOTEL. EXTREMELY BAD ROOM, RUDE SERVICE AND WORST AND DRUNK MANAGEMENT.
Thank God there isn't a fan in the room or i would've commited suicide in the room seeing the conditions. Dreadful bathroom with dirty bedsheets. Even the tv doesn't work as it's not recharged. This place is only booked as people run out of options and for it's location. Absolutely won't recommend it.
The hotel is not good at all, toilets have no ventilation, gyser is not working.... They provide hot water in toilet only 7am to 9am, after that you have to use cold water, even cold water was not available . You come back to hotel before 9pm, after that the door will close. The breakfast have serve us was allu ka paratha, which was made with allu bharta which they serve us at yesterday's lunch and the paratha was so unhealthy and oily that we can't eat. When we ask for some bread and butter or omelet, they told us that they have no other option. Over all experience was bad.
Rooms are not maintained and bathrooms are in pathetic conditions,service is poor.TV intercom out of service. Room furniture is also not maintained properly.only their restaurant served average quality food . mosquito and miss behave is free and they are professional only at the time of payment not to service.
