Well maintained property on the main road, it's just one minute walk to toy train station. There is a huge parking lot opposite this hotel. Buffet dinner is pretty good. Suit rooms are pretty large with a super view on 2nd floor. Ground floor rooms are smaller and of deluxe standard. I prefer this place to stay with family.

I have stayed in this hotel and they were already packed more then their capacity. They have no lift, the buffet was terrible, they were running out of water again and again and you can see it that the water was not present in the crucial hours of 6am-8am. I was staying in gangtok hotel drift and they delivered way too good service at lower cost and the staff looks way more better. Kindly visit any other darjeeling hotel. The light was also not present in the morning as we had also used room heater and that was not working for 5-6hrs and that too we have to pay for non functioning.

Extremely 3rd class hotel a money can buy. Property is good but it is maintained like cheap hotel near railway station. Interior of hotel is good but maintained like horror film banglos where lavotaries r dirty as public toilets . Toilet seat broken 2 lights not working in room . And TV works superb as all channels show same image and sound like when u switch of ur Tata sky. Now lets jump on food we group of 25people eat 2night dinner Maggi which we bought from out side . In buffe salad stinks roti good for dog not human. FINALLY U R WELCOME TO HOTEL SHALOM PALACE

The rooms were good and spacious- 4.5 star The bathroom was small- 3 star Service- 4 star Food- 1 star (there was buffet system with varieties but the quality of ingredients they were using was of low level.) We were 7 people and all of us were complaining of stomach ache after having their meals. 2 of us had food poisoning. Proximity from the main market is of 10 minutes only, so one can go for shopping in the evening. Security wise its good, they have cameras on every floor.

Very nice experience It was avery nice experience. Would love to visit again. The view of the Himalayan range from the room was mesmerizing. Mr. Vikas is a very amiable person. The rooms were well maintained. Location wise its also good. If you want to spend a quality time with your family. Shalom palace is the right place to check in

Comfortable rooms with friendly staff. The rooms provide a great view of Darjleeing. The staff were happy to provide extra amenities when requested. We were given complimentary breakfast and dinner during our stay. The restaurant provided a buffet so we had a variety of choices when it came to food.

Situated adjacent to Darjeeling Railway Station, Hotel Shalom Palace is a nice place to stay. The staffs are well mannered. It offers Room with complementary Buffet Breakfast. The hotel is well decorated with concrete and wood. Overall the tariff plan is reasonable.

Located in the neighborhood of Darjeeling's toy train, this is budget hotel with all the basic amenities and spacious rooms. The rooms are good with hot/cold water , LCD TV, Tea/Coffee Maker, basic toiletries & 24 hours room service.
