The restaurant was named- "skanda's cafe". The service was excellent. They offer water infused with thulasi. They offer discounts for disabled and elderly ppl. Felt a bit expensive, but the quality of food was better. Mushroom biryani - quantity was sufficient. Stuffed roti- the size seemed to be small, the taste was ok. Cutting chai- good. But 20rs is a high pricing.

The snacks were rather ordinary and of acceptable quality. We sampled the onion fritters and the Mysore bonda. Then we had the rava kichadi. It was slightly above average, but not outstanding. If I were to recommend one thing, it would be the filter coffee. Staffs are very polite and friendly
We order chicken briyani which was bit spicy for me and very average. Chicken 555 was very good, bit spicy. Nei parotta was soft & flaky a must try. Bread halwa and caramel custard is very good. Final touch we tried pan shake and it's superb.
Good place to have Tamil food Lunch specially and its very economical. Staff was courteous and helpful, we had a language barrier still we ended up connecting and understood each other. Staff even guided us to saree shops in T nagar and the cooptex one near Museum... Had wonderful conversation here and would love visiting again. Improvement thoughts...The Chinese dishes i tried could be improved or maybe i was expecting bombay style Chinese dishes.
