Hotel saravanabavan veg - Family restaurant in Palepalle - Krishnagiri, India

Soo it was closing time for the restaurant but I think that's not the reason for the service there is not enough people for serving. The food was good and the service was a little slow but compared to how many people were doing service it was good. Recommended because it is a good hotel

Came around 12 noon and told rice will be ready around 10 min .. but it exceed more than 20 minutes . After putting chapaathi then again we waited for 10 min for rice .....worst management. Finally rice came with half boiled and not cooked properly. Food quality is not good and avoid the hotel at any cost . The cost for lunch is 123 /- and not worth the money .

5 stars for the food quality, quick service, location and pricing. Must go to place if you are looking for a casual place to have some food. The waiter first kept a bowl full of various types of chips, much more than you can eat. All of them freshly fried and crisp. The service is very quick for thali. The place is neat and clean has toilets and AC. Ample parking space is available as well. This is opposite to the petrol pump don't recall which one. If you are traveling to Bangalore, better to have a break here for food as the eateries beyond this once you take a right towards Hosur are mostly full at all times. Will go there again for a casual lunch on a long drive.

You may consider this as you pit stop. If you're coming from Chennai, you may find this place on your left, just before Krishnagiri. There are two dining areas under two different names. The one where I had something to ear was Sarvana Bhawan. They had south Indian dishes readily available, though they asked me to wait 5-10mins if I wanted to have veg vadas served hot. Delicious taste of both vadas and chai (tea). Refreshed my mind and energised me to drive the next part of my journey. Clean washrooms for both male and female. While travelling between Bangalore and Vellore, one comes across multiple Saravana Bhavan restaurants and it like a standard name that majority of the restaurants use. We spotted this on our return trip and did a stop for meal. Location: While coming from Vellore side, it comes towards the left side, just few kilometers before the Krishnagiri junction on National Highway. Very easy to spot due to big sign-board and a big parking space outside attracts for a stop here. Ambiance: Good and bright with a small toy and masala shop outside. But even in afternoon heat, the air conditions were not working and the manager was reluctant in starting the air conditions on request. He switched them on only on seeing me taking photographs. Clean washrooms help to retain some points. Food: Food was really good and I liked all that I tasked - Plain Dosa, Onion Dosa, Curd Rice and Veg Fried Rice. Curd Rice stole the show. Service: A big let-down on the service. Service is too slow and one would feel that the staff doesn't pay much attention to the requests. The staff is assigned certain tables and a staff member assigned one table doesn't even listen to requests of guests on other tables, they would just say no on face. This needs to be looked at and quality of service should be improved as on highways majority of the guests would like to finish faster and continue the travel.

Stopped for quick dinner , ordered Mushroom pepper fry and noodles, mushrooms were really good. Noodles also was good but not more oily. Taste is like street food, price is reasonable. Toilet are clean, very critical requirement for me.

Very ordinary restaurant on the highway from Chennai to Bangalore. We passed by Suprabhatam and then saw this..but this was no where close to any Saravana Bhavan...all these are duplicates with pretty poor service. Went for dinner and I had to keep searching for the waiter to place the order. No one comes again later to take any other order or bill. The tables, insides of the restaurant, toilets are not that clean..the whole place looks old with maintenance. Try out other Saravana Bhavan's after Krishnagiri..they seemed to be better maintained..we saw them after we had dinner at this place

Had sone snacks and coffee here, Coffee price is 30Rs and its good. Arun ice creams are available here. There is also a small turk shop where you can get some basic stuffs and gifts Toilets are clean
