It's a good place for a veg restaurant. Taste is also , their service is also good but it ll take some time for food to come due to the crowd of the place. Overall worth trying a taste of veg meals in this place.

If you are looking for the mouth-watering South Indian breakfast (tiffins) in Chennai, Saravana Bhavan is the place you need to go for. Though the prices are pretty high compared to the local hotels, the food won't disappoint you. However, if you are looking for good meals, you are gonna disappoint. And once I entered this place, I saw a huge banner in the sitting area that says one should try the Paneer Butter Masala from this hotel. So, the other day, I ordered it with much excitement and ate the worst Paneer Butter Masala ever. Too much sweet, loaded onions, no flavor. Just avoid this dish. The rest are pretty good.

I was so excited to have dosa from here as it is the most famous joint for South Indian food. But it was great disappointment for me. I am sure not if it's problem only with this branch or entire SB quality had gone down. I would recommend don't choose this place if you are going to try South Indian food for first time.

Decent place located inside Spencer's plaza mall in the ground floor. It is quite spacious and clean. All the covid protocols are religiously followed. Meals were awesome, in terms of both quality and quantity. The price was affordable too. Filter coffee was descent. They accept card payments also. Would recommend.

Really a worst service i have ever seen..i ordered spcl limited meal amd quick lumch....but.waste of money, time, expectation...not well packed chapathi is pappad and pappad is like kercheif...complaint to headoffice ter is no responce from the hotel side ...meals quantity is half....too much of salt in rasam nd etc really worst hate it.....

Abandon this place! Wanted to try their world famous filter coffee with the "best" ingredients apparently. They serve their filter coffee with bugs! And very lethargic service staff! Had to even pay for this nonsense!

Visited the branch in Spencer plaza Mall. Bustling even post lunch hours. Service was very bad. I requested water four times before I actually got it. Ordered their plain dosa and onion uthappam. The dosa was cold and soggy. The onion uthappam was not even cooked through. When we asked the waiter he said and I quote " Only that much it'll be cooked " we asked him to give us a replacement but he told service was closed. We had to wait 10 minutes for the bill at the counter itself. Worst experience. Wouldn't recommend. Service: 2/5 Value for money:2/5 Taste:2/5 Ambiance:3/5

Ambience is average. Food is good. Meals for Rs95 will have one curd and lemon juice in a small cup additionally. So it's better to go for Rs75 meals. Overall experience is good.
