Birla mandir is such a beautiful temple with peaceful environment.
Temple is one of the best wonderful creation around the nearby places. Good option to spend couple of hours with dear ones. Phones/Cameras are not allowed. People enjoys the atmosphere, cleanliness beauty of the temple. Inside temple you will have drinking water, shoe stands, lawn, garden and mini trekking( as you have quite few number of stairs). Outside temple you will have mini market for shopping.
A really nice temple to visit. No phones are allowed inside the temple. So do make arrangements for keeping your phone safe. Should be visited during evening around 6 so you will get to see how it looks during the day and with the amazing lights in the night. There is no issue for parking as you can park alongside the roads.
The temple is very peaceful. The architecture is pretty good and well maintained. There is good security and cameras or cell phones aren't allowed inside the premises. Though the nature is pretty mesmerizing around with variety of flowers and trees.
very beautiful & peace giving. A temple all in marbles. Greenery & beauty. The best time to visit is the evening, so you can catch the lights adding more to the scene. No mobile phones allowed...(the best thing) has a washroom & drinking water facility. 'v'
It's a Lord Ganpati temple. Very well maintained neat and clean. There are few steps to climb. Vehicle is not allowed to take up near the temple and are need to park on opposite side of the road in a private pay and park facility.Nothing is allowed to take inside temple promises not even mobile phone.
The temple is at a distance from Alibaug. There are rickshaws available to ferry to the temple and back. The premises are clean and very impressive. The garden is very nicely decorated with different colored flowers to give a decent view. The temple have 4 other deity temple within this temple. The temple is huge and open on all sides for ample of fresh air. The temple lights in the evening are quite beautiful. Idols are carved out of white marble. There are five different sanctums and each idol is very beautiful. Well maintained temple with simple architecture but there is something that gives you feeling of satisfaction and solace. I wonder "what it is" that makes it different than the other temple in the vicinity. I still have not found any answer after visiting this temple thrice. People say this temple looks all the more beautiful in the evening. I didn't had the luck to visit this temple in the evening yet but surely I will find that special occasion soon. You are not allowed to carry any cameras and phones inside.
This place is really very calm and peaceful. You can forget all your tiredness and stress after taking a walk on the lawn of this mandir. Photography is strictly prohibited, the security person will tell you to keep your camera or even mobiles in the car or bag outside the temple, so be prepared for it, however you won't feel need of it. The view on one of the corner is delightful. It's better to visit in the evening after the sunset as the lightning is attractive. PS: Don't call this a review, call it a description.
