Hotel Sapphire Opposite Golden Temple - Hotel in Amritsar, Amritsar Cantt. - Amritsar, India

We had an amazing stay. Hotel is very close to Golden temple entrance. Really good for elderly parents. Rooms were fully AC and very comforting during extremely hot weather. Bathrooms are fully equipped and clean. Front desk staff helped us with the taxi, let us stay longer on our check out day, and also held onto our luggage as we went for another visit to market before our evening train. All in all great experience.

Hotel is ideally located closer to the Golden temple with Spectacular view of the Golden temple from the Terrace. Rooms were very clean and room cooling was perfect makes it ideal for stay even during hot summer days. Hotel owner and all the staff are very polite and helping. Highly recommend!!

After looking at so many properties, I booked this hotel only based on location and the photographs posted on multiple websites. The best part is that the hotel is very close (a 100m walk) to The Golden Temple. I booked a Super Deluxe Room (205) as I was travelling with my 8months old daughter and I thought a spaciaous room would be enough to accomodate 3 of us. To my surprise, the room size was just 13ft x 11.5ft (excluding bathroom). I paid INR 2700 for this room and was disappointed with the size. Also, please refrain from using RO water provided at the hotel, instead ask for a packaged water. We didn't opt for any restaurant service, so can't comment anything about the food they offer. Overall, I had a wonderful time in Amritsar, except the room.

Great location, very close to golden temple vip gate and nri guest house. Even you can see the temple from the terrace. I am 57 yrs of age and was on vacation with my family, stayed two nights. It was very nice stay. The room was a bit small for the cost but well maintained. Arrangement for visiting wagha attari border can be available from just outside the hotel at the cost around 1500bucks. We enjoyed the stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The cleanliness was impressive, and the service provided was top-notch. The highlight was definitely the delicious food they offered. it's really close to Golden Temple. Overall, an excellent experience. I would highly recommend to others

Recently stayed in this hotel, just opposite of Golden Temple. Rooms are well maintained and neat and clean washroom. The staff members are very polite and ready to help you out all the way. Wish to come again.

Just an average Hotel with Average rooms and high cost food items, just the most positive thing about this place is its location, just few steps away from the Golden Temple, you can easily reach the temple in just few seconds. Rooms are basic and comparatively small in size as per the tariff.

Excellent location, you get a movie like perspective of the Golden Temple. Staff are very accommodating. Right outside the hotel you'll find transportation for local areas. Only major issue we had was the bed in the "Superior Family Room" is rock hard, it's like sleeping on the floor. They had an extra cushion for one bed they provided when we asked, but the other bed had no solution.
