Great location, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, rooms with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
The rooms are pretty decent but lack of ventilation makes it hard to stay in the summer season in the non AC room. washrooms are pretty clean. service and their behaviour is very good. please bargain while taking the room. They provide paid food in the room but you will get better options nearby. Location is the Highlight of this hotel.
For unmarried couple they demand 2 rooms cost for single room.means 1800(900*2)for one couple room.but room basin was totally broken. Unsatisfied
Never visit Hotel samrat...their staffs are hungry for tips ... service is too much worse ....They give used water bottles to Guest's bottels which was used by previous Guest's.....And their food quality are also worse ...bathrooms are not well mentained windows are broken u can bath any one can see you from bridge and make your bathing video.....Never visit here visit other hotel near station but never visit here
I stayed for one night in room number 419 at the Samrat Hotel, located beside the Burdwan railway station, for Rs. 800. I chose a non-AC room because I had an exam. However, I couldn't sleep well due to the noise of the horns outside, and the bathroom window was broken, which meant that anyone could see inside from the road. The tap in the bathroom leaked all day, and there was a foul odor coming from the bathroom at all times. Additionally, the toilet in the bathroom was a Western-style toilet, but the lid was missing, which made it difficult to use. Overall, my experience was not pleasant, and I wanted to provide this review.

I've been to this hotel thrice but the same problem did I face with the bathroom. I got different rooms but the bathrooms weren't clean & water logged each time. Lastly, they charge a bounteous rent from the customers but the rooms are fair-to-middling, not even praiseworthy.
