I had a fantastic 5-day stay at Hotel Samrat. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was consistently quick. The staff was both professional and caring, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was a highlight, with an amazing taste. The hotel's central location in Kolhapur is a big plus for travelers. I highly recommend Hotel Samrat to anyone planning a trip. In my opinion, it deserves a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.
- Spacious area to move - Central location - Very near from S. T. Bus stand, Railway station, Luxury bus stand. - Nice lodging facilities - Offers complementary breakfast to its customers (Two dishes from selected items and tea or coffee per person).
One of third class lodging hotels, exploit need of customers, lies with customers about availability of Non AC rooms, so that they sell AC rooms with higher tarrif at around 1800/- to 2000/- even if customer wanted Non AC room, pathetic service
When ever i come to kolhapur i make sure i stay in hotel samrat... And this hotel i have known from atleast 7/8 years. 2/3 years back it was getting renovated... And now when i see the rooms i think they are just beautiful. Also there is a restaurant which is adjacent to the hotel. Also it it very comfortable for all kind of travellers, cause its close to the kolhapur railway station, kolhapur St bus stations and even the kolhapur airport.
Very bad experience.. staff was not cooperative at all. Doormat at the bathroom was so dirty as if it was from the roadside, with all the dust on it. It made whole room dirty. No proper reply on room service calls. The worst experience ever. We paid double the charges for the room, bcoz we booked at last moment. But this was pathetic.

Review 3 years before - Spacious family rooms. Overall ok. Need to improve somewhat on house keeping. 5 mins walkable distance from railway station. They are now providing free breakfast with 3-4 items but not hot all the time. April 23 update - I was with my family this time too. spacious rooms. Very responsive/accomodative staff which is huge plus this time. Superb restaurant "Surabhi" attached to hotel with veg and non veg variety and taste is awesome and it's also available under room service. Number of Breakfast items added since my last visit. Overall it's really a nice improvement by hotel overall and must recommended for family stay.

Economical place to stay in Kolhapur. The best place to stay if you are coming to visit Sree Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple, which is hardly 200 metres away from the hotel. Good for overnight stay. Take assistance from the hotels guys for parking.
