We had breakfast here. We had poori and Pongal each 45rs. Filter coffee taste is good but it cost around 20rs.rooms also available here. Overall we had decent breakfast.
Go only if you need a quick bite before catching the bus. Otherwise other better options available within a kilometre radius towards the city center (west).
Decent tiffin, good service. Avoid water and coffee.

We Stayed there for one day, the owner is a fraud who took away more money from us stating we have lost the key despite we handed over as we dont know tamil that much. The rooms are too small and the service is too worst including sub-standard food. He has not provided towel / soap / bed sheet / drinking water at all and the service in hotel rooms is pathetic and the worst hotel ever i visited in my life - better to avoid it
A clean room and attached bathroom in 400 rupees, I couldn't ask for anything more. It located right next to Kumbakonam Bus stand.
They have a big restaurant on Ground floor, although I didn't taste anything because I had hundreds of options nearby

This hotel is situated near Kumbakonam Bus Stand. If you would think you would go here to eat, It might be your worst mistake. Me and my family ate break fast and lunch here. It was bad. DON'T ORDER VEG BRIYANI. It had only lots of spices.I cant even describe it how bad it was. AND THE WATER!!!
DON'T DRINK THE WATER!! ITS TAP WATER!! I got sick from drinking this water. Its the best you would avoid this restaurant. Pro tip: Buy canned water bisleri canned water. But the staff were kind and polite but the food was bad they have to improve standard of the food.

Best vegetarian restaurant in kumbakonam. They maintain consistency and quality. Their piping hot Pongal is available even as early as 6 30 am and it's divine. A must go for travellers!
