Hotel Sai Palace Navaratna - Hotel in Mangaluru - Dakshina Kannada, India

Lovely place for both veg and non veg food. Their green garlic chicken was awesome. Same with caramel pudding. One of the best. We revisited the place coz of the excellent food quality. Awesome ambience, fast service. Probably this is the reason there's always waiting queue for dinner. Staff is cooperative in informing about tables when they are available.

My reservation was handled properly and room was ready on arrival. The property is centrally located. Sufficient car park available. The rooms are very elegant with spacious toilets and amenities. The room numbers are very beautifully visible in the corridor and hence easy to locate. Very charming property and the best in the segment. The staff are NOT AT ALL friendly or courteous. There was not a smile or a greeting from any of the receptionists during my multiple interactions with them. I dined at their Udipi cafe restaurant three times and all the three times the waiters were not courteous or helpful. Orders are not taken properly nor were queries answered properly. The supervisors in the restaurant were a notch worse in attitude. My soup was not hot and when I requested it to be heated, the supervisor had the gall to ask me if the soup was cold. When I informed that it was NOT HOT, he was reluctant to believe it and was deliberating if it had to be reheated . Overall the staff are uniformly bad and need a lot of training in hospitality and guest relationship. The housekeeping staff, bell boys and security personnel were courteous and warm. It's sad that such a lovely property with good food is tarnished by the people working for it.

A lovely place located at the center of the city, closer to Malls, Railway station, temples, churches, mosques, beaches and many more amenities. Food is tastier and best priced. A luxurious ambiance makes way for memorable selfies and clicks with the family and friends. Ghee rice is awesome and makes u crave for more, thank you

Hotel is centrally located and rooms are good. However we had an unpleasant experience, we had booked for 3 adults with breakfast included for a room however we were given only 2 bottles of drinking water in the room and was charged for the third bottle. Infact on the last day the check out time was at 12pm and we were charged for drinking water provided in the room. No good rated hotel charges for such small things and management needs to take a note.

Sai Palace is one of the most recommended hotel/restaurants in Mangalore. The food quality they serve is unbeatable.. we have ordered on Zomato more than a hundred times, Sai Palace food has never ever disappointed us. The dining experience at this place has also been great, ofcourse there is waiting time, but I would say it's worth waiting for their quality.

Amazing flavours filled with lovely spices and taste. There is no compromise in quantity. Food is served with quality in vast quantity. The Chinese food, Mughlai, grill items and dessert is A1. There is a lovely ambience inside the restaurant. Light music in the background and the fragrance of lovely aroma increases your appetite. There is also a good space for car parking too.

Today I have visited the Sai Palace for Lunch that too for the first time. Ambiance,Food,Location everything is Good..but the staffs especially who do the table service was not acceptable at all! When we were having the food most of the time they came and asked "should we serve" even I have refused they keep on repeating.And at last when two bite was left on my plate he asked for table clearance.I told him after sometime but the way he took the plate which I kept on the bottom of the plate which I was having food was not at all acceptable.I think all the waiters should be TRAINED to treat the customers in a well positive attitude and in a good manner not for forcing the customers to have the food as early as possible and to clear the table without our consent...This is what I felt in today's service!!!!...Thank you!

The house keeping staff are pathetic, inspite of giving instructions they mess up so badly and expect a tip in return. The house keeping manager is not ready to accept the mistake and instead of trying to address the issue, he kept escaping. The user experience, also not great, any service you need, instead of reception handling it, they give new numbers to call and reach out. All in all, decent rooms but horrible staff.
