Hotel Sahara Inn - Hotel in Vythiri, Kunnathidavaka - Wayanad, India

We had dinner at this place on 27th December 2022. We had to go here since almost all other restaurants were crowded. When we entered the restaurant we realized that the lady at the reception is not at all supportive. She was keeping a frowning face and was not at all helping us with dining vailability for 8 people. After 10 minutes we were guided to the family room and we found it extremely dirty. We chose to sit in the outside cabin itself. After 40 minutes of waiting our dinner was served. We found the food quality very poor and discarded most of the food. When we mentioned the same to them, they didn't give any attention. The lady at the reception was kind of " just pay and go". Next day morning most of us got food poisoned. I observed that they are having rooms as well. Don't know how people are feeling it in case of stay. But my humble advice to all of you is that please don't eat from here. Your stomach will get infected for sure. I am planning to file a complaint to Vythiri police and FSSAI on this.

I haven't stayed here, but I had a dinner last night 08/01/2023. It was the worst one, which caused food poison to me and my wife. We had a treatment nearby hospital, so please be cautious while eating food from this hotel.

Suggest to steer clear if you are health conscious. They have an active complaint with FSSAI for unsafe food. In Dec 2022 multiple groups of travellers have been food poisoned from here.

One of the pathetic restaurant's in Wayanad.. please Don't stop there.. Food is below average and bill is very high.. It's not worth it.. Afterall there is no washroom in that restaurant.. Just in few meter away from that restaurant you can find couple of good restaurants...

It was a great experience. Staffs are very polite, helpful and supportive. The rooms are very neat and clean. The restaurant service is also very good. Awesome food. Overall good experience.

Very bad food and service. Ordered a beef biriyani, and the beef was like rubber pieces. We asked the waiter to make the beef eatable, but his attitude was very bad. We gave the beef back to the kitchen, and it came back just like it was, undercooked. The waiter even tried to argue with us.

Food was uncooked and attitude of the supplier was so disgusting. We tried beef biryani and the beef was too rubbery and uncooked. Supplier's first response was rude later on we paid the price of plane biryani.

Good room no hotwater available as they promissed.water flow from the taps are very low. Service boy Mr Raju is doing his best to make customer happy . I can not say food is good.but they don't know what is strong tea and what is lite tea. No toiletries providing. You can make as a last option.
