Hotel Sagar Ratan - Hotel in Purulia - Purulia, India

I stayed in this hotel at 30th may,2023. I got some surprising behaviour from hotel stuffs. They lied to me, they're asking for extra charges after check out then manager came and helped me. And One thing* I forgot to take My 'good night advanced' you know that's for mosquitos. Maybe this isn't valuable things but I expect they'll call me for that, but didn't call me to take.. I'm very upset with their behaviour.

It is situated at the heart of purulia from where you can access all basic amenities. It has AC or Non-AC rooms. But room rents are slight costly. This hotel also provide you purulia tour guide and car.

I usually dont leave reviews unless the experience is excellent or disgusting. And to say this hotel is disgusting would be an understatement. This is one of the filthiest and dirtiest hotels in Purulia. The staff are exceptionally rude and ill-mannered. The rooms smell like graveyards, the walls are cracked, and the bed sheets have questionable stains on them. The hotel starts from the second floor and the reception is situated between small offices. The staircases are filled with cigarette smoke with employees from different offices. The owner simply does not care about the pathetic conditions. I would request everyone to stay away from this sorry excuse of a hotel and look for better options. I would be satisfied if this hotel shuts down and it should. Our experience was nothing less than a nightmare and we immediately cancelled our booking on seeing the conditions. Please, please stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Not recommended for tourists. It is a so-so place for people on office tour on an overnight basis and need the room only to sleep. No food available. They will take orders and bring them from outside. Poor overall services. Staffs are cordial though. Rooms are not spacious. Note: There is no proper car parking facilities except a narrow lane beside the hotel, where at most 3 cars can be parked other then the car of owner.

Good and clean hotel. Service is good. One or two things might not be upto the mark but hotel staffs are helpful and polite. It was overall a great experience.

The hotel authority offers both AC and Non-AC rooms. Size of the rooms is big. A bed can contain maximum 3 persons but they most of the time offer a bed only for two. Rent may vary by season to season and generally stay between 800 to 1200.

Budgeted place. Various Shops at every floor gives an open market feelings which is just different from conventional hotels. Entry point is very congested. Yet the location is nice. A.C. and Geysers were working properly. Overall ggod experience.

Room is decent at a budget of 1200/-. Geyser is also available with other basic amenities. Room service is also available but you have to have outside food as their is no kitchen service available at this hotel. Beware of mouse, occasionally they will come and eat up you soap.
