Hotel Royal Pratap Niwas - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

Such a worst experience. This is the first time I walked out of the hotel without staying.The rooms are not neat and the bathrooms are really unhygienic.

Best room service. Easy access to tourists spot . Staff is too polite . Theri breakfast was awesome . Manager is too polite and helpful they help us in reaching the tourist places provided vehicles to us their rooftop service is also great . Budget friendly stay with awesome price .

I was stayed almost 3 days in Royal Pratap Niwas hotel, Udaipur. There was excellent service by team of Royal pratap Niwas hotel, the breakfast & dinner food was very good, all team members were excellent co-operatives with me & my family. Good job done by all team members. I appreciate all of them, they done very well worked. Thank you very much..

I stayed at the Hotel Royal Pratap Niwas in Feb 2023, seeing that it had received a Trip Advisor Traveler's Choice rating. This is an old, tired hotel with a lot of deficiencies. On the positive side, the service by Surrender was excellent. He looked after us very well. The view from the rooftop, when standing at the railing, was very good. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable. The food was also good. Unfortunately on the negative side, there are many items to list. - The hotel arranged a filthy Innova to pick us up at the airport. The driver had not showered for at least a day and he could barely speak English. I had to find another taxi company on my own for the remainder of my stay. - The front desk staff barely spoke English. My main contact was away for most of my stay. - The elevator looked very old . I did not have confidence in the lift. After the first ride, we took the stairs for the rest of our stay. - There was a lot of noise from weddings taking place behind the hotel. The noise would go on past 11 PM, including loud fireworks. - The condition of tables on the rooftop restaurant was not good. I never saw anyone at the rooftop for dinner, most likely since there was no ambience on the rooftop. -The banister to the third floor was laying on the landing. - There was a lot of noise in the hallway from men at about 3 AM. On several occasions on different nights, theses male guests tried inserting their keys into our rooms. - The washroom is not at an acceptable level for International Travelers. Whenever I used the sink, there was a strong smell of sewage. The sink faucets were in poor condition. The towels were also worn and ragged. - There was a mattress laying in the room next to the lobby as we came down the stairs. - I was told I could use my international credit card. When it came time to pay, the payment device stated International Credit Card was not set-up. I ended paying using Google Pay, which was not my intention. I would not recommend this to an International visitor to the city. There are much better, newer and cleaner hotels at an acceptable price. The Google Rating is clearly off the mark, as is the Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Award. The issues at the hotel can be solved if the management has the willpower to make this a better place for guests visiting Udaipur.

Booked the palace view room, deluxe rooms were very average. Amenities were average given it's a 3 star rated hotel, no tooth brush & tooth paste provided. Service staff were okay. It's fairly old property compared to others on the same area.. bathrooms were okay. Breakfast was average, no buffet. Overall stay was just okay, nothing great or bad.

We loved the rooms and the outside view. And also the dinning area at the roof top was amazing. If we talk about the food then the food was also very delicious and tasty . The service was also pretty good . Overall the hotel is perfect and affordable compared to other hotels.

rooms were spacious, food in breakfast was ok but the snacks we ordered were yummy, location is around 3km from city palace, staff was cooperative Nice stay, could have been great if they make changes in the breakfast
