Hotel Riverside Resorts & Spa - Resort hotel in Kumbakonam, Perumandi - Thanjavur, India

We booked The hotel for our kumbakonam temple visit and very pleased with the stay here for 5 days. We had old aged parents and 2 smal kids to travel with us. Gopi, the resort manager assisted us from The moment we started from Coimbatore and guided every place to visit with proper contacts and guides there. The whole team in the resort was very hospitable. The food was of good quality and very hygienic with all Accommodations taken into account. We had a beautiful spiritual trip with the whole family sound and safe. Highly recommended!!

We booked 2 standard rooms based on description on MakeMyTrip, that rooms are 300 sq.ft.size. But the rooms are hardly 150 sq.ft. Towels were really dirty. Rooms were stinky. Don't know why they have 4-star reviews. The staff is equally incompetent to deal with this. Manager was not available. We were forced to stay as it was late evening, and we were with family. Won't recommend anyone to stay here just by looking at nice pictures.

Rooms are bad... it's small but enough to stay for a small family. could be improved a lot. Bed should be changed. We booked with breakfast, but breakfast is Very very limited. Outer garden and Swimming Pool are maintained well. Some staffs looked strange. I think they are not happily working there. Overall disappointing and not worth for money.

It's got a huge lawn. Clean swimming pool. Standard rooms don't face the swimming pool but the cottages do. Big enough car parking. They seriously need to rethink what they serve in their restaurant... Lunch was better. Dinner was poor. May be they have different chef for lunch n dinner. No tiffen items during dinner. Breakfast was alright. They served same items for two days. Rooms were big enough. If you are 2+1 ask for room with extra bed, it's a bit more spacious as well. Its a little outside the town...

Very sorry. We travelled all the way from Chennai and while in transit, we specifically asked for rooms for 3 adults. When I checked online, the price was 2300 per night for a standard room. But when we arrived, the receptionist was very rude is saying that only cottages are available if it were 3 persons. And the cottages are 6000 per night. We insisted on standard room and she said it's 2400 initially then to 2800 and finally said it would be around 3200. No professionalism, no tariff no response from any manager other than the receptionist. Hope my review will help someone. That's why posting. Please be careful when checking in as the staff are very rude. It's my personal experience.

Went here with minimal expectations. But they exceeded our expectations. We booked a suite room and standard room. Suite room was too good with 2 rooms with ac and 2 rest rooms inside a single suite. Very neat also. Whereas standard room was average. Restrooms were not so clean. And the noise from next rooms in the building were high. Even tye sound of someone opening their door was audible. Swimming pool very neatly maintained. Lunch was good. Free bfast was average. Green place to take nice pics with family. All temples of kumbakonam were with 4km radius from resort.

We had selected this hotel since it had swimming pool. Staffs are friendly. Got a big room at a little discounted rate through phone booking. It's a property of tamilnadu tourism and run by a private party. Ambience is good. Pool is neat and clean. Rooms are ok level. 24 hrs hot water service is there. Ventilation in toilet is not available. Taste of food is good..... if u want to use the pool make sure about the timing coz of swimming classes.

All food items is very quality and taste very super and low price also Every foodperofactoin quickly Everytime using Banana leaf . I like you very much
