We ordered idly, dosa, puri, tea and coffee.
Everything tastes good but their service is the worst. Workers/owners act as per the people/language.
Even though they are kind, I felt the difference.
Nice restaurant. The food was great. The food was simple but delicious. Great taste. We had ordered Dosa, Buns, Poori Bhaji, Aloo Bajji and a drink called Ragi water. All dishes tasted great. Especially the aloo bajji and Ragi water was amazing. Crowded when last visited. Great experience.
Had mixed experience here. Day 1, they were all respectful.
Thereafter, the service became awful. The person at the counter kept me waiting and took orders from others who came after me. Then when I confronted, I was told the parcel would take time. He didn't bother to ask if I wanted to place an order.
Gokarna started losing its charm and becoming more commercial.
I am going to avoid this hotel. I found Hotel Udupi, 100m away to be the best in the locality.

Best veg restaurant in Gokarna for a South Indian food. The shape of the idly is different here and tasty too. Ragi neer at Rs.15/- is a must try. I highly recommend this best food at an affordable cost. They do serve different varieties of traditional food.
Taste is not great.. generally nothing is served hot. Chutney was very watery
A simple and humble place serving super yummy food. Cup shaped idli tastes so different and amazing. Vada was fresh and crispy. Mangaluru buns was good too. But what's stood out is the pulav. It was out of the world. Made with apt mix of masalas and a little higher flavor of garlic made it one of the best pulavs I have had. Tea was tasty.
Has about 4 tables to dine in.
Only complaint is the slow service. The boys walk around as I'd they don't hear you Bare with it as you surely won't be disappointed with the food.
We tried our food in multiple places here. But this is by par the best for South Indian dishes in and around Gokarna.
Place is very small. Food taste good. Cheap n reasonable price. We went 2 times for breakfast. Chutney taste ok ok. Limited Verity.
Hotel Ramnivas is a great option for budget-minded travellers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in Gokarna. The hotel is located just beside the private bus station.
