Hotel Purple Icon - Hotel in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

WORST....ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC... I have travelled quite a bit and this has got to be the worst of all hotels/accommodations I have stayed at (across the globe). DON'T go by the positive reviews you see on Google for this property. I chose this property since I wanted something close to the Science City. Since this property was reasonable and had good reviews, I booked this property. I was utterly shocked when I arrived at the property. The room that was allotted was extremely unclean. Stains everywhere (tables, bedsheets). Walls and ceilings had cobwebs, couple of spiders too. The worst though was the bathroom. It was as-if no one has cleaned it for months together. The worst part was that the toilet pot had "semen" sticking out of it. Absolutely worst !!!! We asked for a room change, all other rooms did not have hot water in it. So pathetic !! Since it was very late in the night that we arrived, we did not have an option to move out. We spoke to the owner and the front desk staff (very unwillingly) cleaned the bathroom. And then we moved out at 7am to another property. My advice to everyone. DO NOT ever stay at this property.

We stayed 24 hours there but I do not recommend staying in this hotel. The rooms are dirty, not cleaned, having so much hair spread on the bed and on the floor, the bathroom is so smelly, even there is no hanger in the bathroom. They charged 1200 for 24 hours that is totally not fair and the cost for services may not be more than 500 INR. The location around the premises is excellent. Iskon gathiya is the famous shop for breakfast under the premises.

It was wonderful experience staying there. I also really enjoyed the breakfast . The food was fresh and delicious, with a great variety . And the coffee was some of the best I've ever had! I can't wait to come back again!

It is very good hotel , the staffs are nice and fast response i given 5 star because of the cleanliness and for the service which they provided. I recommend this hotel to all the travellers who are searching hotel to stay near science city in Ahmedabad.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of pure elegance and tranquility. The staff's attention to detail, the exquisite cuisine, and the impeccable room service made my stay an absolute delight.

Please don't go to this hotel. It is being run by unprofessional people of between age groups of 20 to 30. They don't even know how hospitality industry work and how they should care for the customer. I booked through Goibibo and payed in advance. But they said they have not got the booking and closed the door at 1.00 AM! They are unqualified people don't even know how this booking works.

what really sets Hotel Purple Icon apart is the staff. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and I felt like a VIP from the moment I arrived, and that level of service continued throughout my stay.
