With the hype of the best daal bati we have visited this place. Ambience was not good. Seating arrangement is also average. Now the main part came, FOOD It's an average kind of daal bati, taste is not rich. You may go for a single time.

Best Highway Dhaba on Ahmedabad - Himmatnagar - Udaipur highway Near Mota Chiloda Circle and Gandhinagar. Famous for Dal Batti. Very reseasonably priced. Coming here since last 15 years. Same test all these years. Also serves Punjabi Dishes but test is okay. Heavy rush on weekends and on holidays, waiting on these days could be more than 40 min! There are many such Dhabas on the same Service Road, but do not fall for them. They just can't match the taste of Purohit. Update - Now it has Air Conditions in the family room part of the restaurant. You can enjoy the Dal lBati in the summer too!
One of the best dhaba for enjoying Daal Baati ! Moderately priced, clean hotel. In 2011 a friend suggested us, since then we visit Hotel Purohit especially for Daal baati.
Food was good but the service is worst the even not clean proper table. when you ask to Waiter than even they dont clean and talking behavior is very rude, Owner mast have to teach tham that thay are in Hotel Industry and they are the one who service provier Overall Good Food Good to go..!!!
Place is Mediocre. Ya ! Main thing is the price of Dishes are very affordable. This place used to be famous for its Dalbati-Churma but now you can get better deals and taste near that place. Punjabi Food is Nice. It can be pocket friendly restaurant for big families. Parking space is there. Overall it's Nice place. You won't regret being here.
