HOTEL PRIYA CHENGANNUR - Hotel in Chengannur - Alappuzha, India

We visited the hotel with my family of 15 people for temple darshan... We booked hotel by looking Google reviews... In Google pics we did not found any information abt bar n wine place below hotel... It is was little smell... It is good for bachelor but not suitable for family...

The rooms are ok for the price (we had non AC for 980), it's quiet and the matraces comfortable. The hot water did'nt work, in some corners it was not cleaned carefully, and a little smile would have made us feel more welcome. That is why the two stars are missing. Good to know: The hotel is located directly next to a beer and whine parlour which might be pleasant for some but not for everyone.

Glass in room is not in proper location. Hot and cold water is available. General cleanliness is good. Reception not very friendly. Ok for staying. No disturbance. Next to post office. Safe for family. Found fire detector in room , checked it's not camera. Close to bus stand. From where you can get bus for all places. Cinema theatre is close by. Veg restaurant aarayas is in walking distances. One can cover 6 temple out of 108 divya desam temples Within 6 hours .

Very cooperative manager/owner. Cleanliness fine. One has to particular for mosquito. Do not keep the door open in the night We kept our bag in the reception. thanks to Hotel for so much cooperative. It was memerable stay.

Rooms are good and maintained good but ground floor wine parlour may be delaying family customers to secind floor rooms..Lift facilities available.. Inside restaurant avaialble.

Rooms are almost vacant/empty all the time. Some beds are stinking, you can feel the pungent smell as soon as you enter the room. 800 with non AC is useless for this room. No proper maintenance, TV doest work, can see the spider webs in bathroom. Finally, stay away. Only good this is you have hot water geyser.

The stay was good. The person at Reception was polite and courteous. In summer one must go room with AC only. Being compact room and no windy air flow inside room from outside suuffogated. We kept our luggage for a day.

Firstly let me inform that the location of this place is next to Head Post Office, Chenganur. The rooms are very good. Reminds you of the British era. The ambience of the double rooms are quite nice. Quite cozy and calm. You can bargain on the marked rent and you can get some discount if you are lucky. Has an restaurant attached..Both veg and nonveg. No comments on that. This place is the centre of nearly 9 temples which include 6 #Divyadesams. Hence you can stay here and visit these very old and lovely temples
