Hotel Prashant - Hotel in Kausani, Someshwar Range - Bageshwar, India

Rooms need some more basic furnishings. The staff are very good and location is probably the best at Koushani.

Best location to see mountain view , close to Anashakti Ashram, neat and clean rooms, tasty vegetarian food, cooperative hotel staff and silent zone made our stay pleasant. We 22 senior citizens (11 couple) friends from Gujarat stayed 2 days at Hotel Prashant during last week of March'22. We found hotel services above par with peers.

We visited during peak season time. May be because of that I don't know but the maintenance of rooms was terrible. We had to change 2 family rooms before choosing one as housekeeping wasn't done for days and the mattresses were smelling bad. The room we finally settled in had stained sheets even the ones they said were washed. Also, the blankets had to be changed on our request because they had someone's vomit. Moreover, they didn't give toiletries and the taps were leaky. The food was also just okay and the restaurant is not 24*7. The view of the Himalayas was amazing but couldn't help us much with the overall experience. The room fare was INR 2000 for one night (we stayed there from 6pm to 8am) and that's not much. But the service was terrible. We stayed at this hotel only for the view and in the end that's all we got. I would pass this hotel if I visit Kausani again.

Location is good. View is good. Mattress are not that good. Okay okay just it was. They say that hotel is vegetarian but they have eggs inside their kitchen so not to prefer food for being a jain.

Service is superb. Location and the rooms view was splendid. A problem with hot water supply they bring them in buckets but thats it. Food is too good. Being a bong maybe i am inclined to it... Its a min walk from Anashakti Gandhi Ashram. Views are splendid. Tue only menace i found was monkeys . The collection of flora they have planted was awesome and the staffs and the owner's behaviour was too good. N.B. they have large glass windows to enjoy those splendid mountain views.

#Awesome. Wonderful hotel at affordable price. Great view of Himalayan Ranges from its terrace. It's view point is awesome. Feel the effects of sunrise from here. Caretaker behavior is so friendly. Rooms are good but small doors. Overall awesome.

Location is damn super. But Hotel staff are also good. They should use new things for every customer. Cleanliness I feel somewhat lacking. But as per location , we were happy at staying. Backside valley view. Terrace view is awesome. You can book this hotel. Food facility available with Jain food. Kausani district is good .. near by many tourist places. So good location ..

Excellent Stay, food is like at home. Location is just beside Anant Sahkti Ashram. Mountain View can be seen from its all room. Trishul, Nanda Devi & full Kumayon Himalayan range Peaks are having clear view from hotel. Lastly manager of the hotel is nice person.
