Hotel Prabhat Vihar - Hotel in Netarhat - Latehar, India

This hotel is under the Jharkhand Tourism department. The area is quite big and they have new buildings and old buildings. But the old building is not maintained properly. They have their own sunrise view point and you can get a breath-taking view of the sunrise from here. Even tourists staying outside also visit here to watch the sunrise. It is advisable to book online well in advance as during peak sessions all the rooms get booked well in advance. They have their own restaurant which has a variety of food options and the food is also good and tasty. The portion is also good but the price is a bit higher. No problem for car parking.

Beautiful location. The Deluxe building is beautiful with great views, spacious rooms and toilets. Sunrise point is located inside the premises. Fairly good food options available at their Restaurant.

New building was great as the old building was worst, don't know how a government aided property can offer those type of rooms. The amount they charged against new building rooms was high enough but the service was very poor. Location was beautiful that was all.

Room are pathetic bathroom are so dirty. I had asked them to clean the bathroom for several times but everything gone in veins. Only sunrise view is good. Hotel had no wifi. Staff behaviour better not to say anything. Total lost of money

Pathetic hotel. No WIFI network. No JIO Network No lock in washroom door. Food is decent and tolerable. Not suitable for tourists. Stay away from this fraud hotel. Looting money by showing great pictures in websites.

Netarhat doesn't have much good hotels to stay, JTDC hotel Prabhat vihar is one of the few decent options available there. It has one old building which is ordinary at its best and one new building which has all the modern amenities and delux rooms. Try to book delux rooms online as spot booking may not be available all the times. Room service is not good, only 1-2 staffs available to cater all the rooms so one should not expect much of room service . New building has all the rooms having balcony and wonderful sunrise views. Restaurant serves few basic food items, nothing fancy and in a place like Netarhat where not much fooding options available outside so guests need to order from inhouse restaurants all the time. Hotel surroundings are beautiful with a kids play zone present as well. Overall this is the best option available at Netarhat for fooding and lodging.

The hotel gets the great views and bigger rooms but are over priced. The hotel is part of JTDC but feels like some private one. There are other options available which are better and at the lesser price

Hotel is good, staff is good, location is good, food is good. I stayed in family suite for two days. Could see excellent view of the sunrise from window of my room. What I did not like is bit over priced, could have been 20% less. The breakfast was not worth the price. Only three items, no fruits, no provision to make your own tea without sugar. There was only one person serving the crowd. It was the biggest discouragement. I hope they will improve, few months back I stayed in seven MP Tourism hotels and the breakfast was excellent.
