Hotel PLR Grand - Hotel in Tirupati - Chittoor, India

We stayed there for 2 nights. And we checked in on the first night , stayed and checked out in the morning- went for darshan. Then again checked in the second night and checked out the next morning. First night stay was so good that we came back to the hotel next night. The second night was extremely bad. Good things first: - room is clean with a clean and large bathroom - breakfast is spread is sufficient and fresh food. Service is good ( there is Bengali guy who is specially good) Now for the bad: - room service people are loud and rude - parking is difficult - the security guy on the second day didn't even help with the luggage ( but was prompt to ask tip when checking out) - they sell the same room as delux and executive and charge 1k more for the executive .why? Coz apparently they have renovated the bathroom and they also provide dental kit - we were 3 adults and a child first day they gave us 4 bottles of water but when we were staying at the executive room the room service guy asked us for extra money for 2 additional bottles - front office executives are inefficient and slow. - overall service is not good except the breakfast Location is good as it's next to the Tirupathi bus station Do I recommend this place ..no Will I stay here again..NO

We booked sea bird for thirupathi package, they took us to this hotel,Room are not good, it is like very old, in bathroom water was not going out, it was overflowing in bathroom itself, when we asked for that they told you should inform starting only. Food also below average only.

Looks like grand exterior but rooms are mediocre. Food was only below average. It's just opposite to bus stand so easy point for commute. Not advisable for stay maybe just for refreshing.

Excellent location. It is right opposite the bus stand and it is so helpful in a city like Tirupati. Room was very spacious and it had all that was required. Bathroom setup is little on the older side but they have provided Geyser which is very important especially when getting up early mornings and solar heater won't really be working during rains. Service was very good and overall, this room is very decent for the price. I strongly recommend this hotel to all who depend on Bus transport. If you have a train to catch, it would just be 10 mins from the hotel.

Excellent location. Spacious and clean rooms. Only issue is all the fittings become old. They need to think of renovation or at least replace all bath room fittings.

I would rate 4 stars as they may not be providing very high services but definitely they covered all the basics for guest.It's very near to tirupati bus stand but the road to reach this place is quite narrow and challenging for bigger vehicles.For smaller cars it's comfortable and nearby you got HSB and other hotels.They also have their inlet restaurant and it's decent nothing to complain much.
