Good. Especially biryani. A bit crowded but worth the price.

Superb! Tasting the Kannur biriyani again. Quality Quantity During a visit to a mobile shop asked the guy for the best food in the city. The guy without doubt suggested this. Also one visitor overheard and suggests the same. It was fantastic. Will definitely suggest for anyone asks for the best biriyani in town.

This hotel, though in the centre of the city is unknown to most people. I got the suggestion from a Kottayam foodie page claiming to be the "best dum biriyani in Kottayam". And honestly they didn't fail to impress me. I went there last month in search of beef biriyani but wasn't ready at that time. So today I went around 11.45 and got hot and fresh beef biriyani. It was tooooo good! The beef is well cooked and the masala was also really good. last month I had the mutton biriyani. That was also pretty good and tasty, but found is ridiculously expensive (twice that of beef). But seriously, anyone want to try really good Calicut dum biriyani, this is the place to go.

Gem of a restaurant. For me it's the go to place any time while in town .Chicken dum biryani is one of the best biryanis i ever had eventhough on some days slight inconsistency with the masalas are there ,if you are lucky you can get a perfect chicken dum biryani. Beef biryani is not dum so i personally like the Chicken. Green peas masala is another dish to die for ,it's not listed in the menu either ask for it only available at evening best to have along with piping hot wheat porotta which is too good for a porotta to be . Chicken salala,fish curry is also good .

Francais en voyage en Inde, nous avons trouve cette adresse par hasard en attendant notre bus. Nous y avons ete bien accueilli et nous avons mange un tres bon biryani vegetarien (non epice !). Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est propre, dispose de toilettes et lavabos pour les mains et dont le service est rapide.

Yesterday I try biriyani but this is not a biryani this is normal boiled rice with chicken half cooked curry pcs i m not recommended

This is a restaurant located in one of the busiest areas of Kottayam.It is opposite Anupama theatre on a pocket road, a pay and park facility is available just opposite to this restaurant Even though this restaurant does not have hifi top notch ambience and all,the food here is great and cheap you will get beef biriyani for 100 rs and chicken biriyani for 110 rs.Mutton biriyani is available for 200 rs. I had beef biriyani and it was great,there were good amount of beef pieces in the biriyani and everything was just perfect N:B: this place also has Bombay pooda
