Best dosa in Udupi district - as per me and my entire family We love this restaurant!! We've been frequenting Parijatha restaurant for several years and the quality of their dosas has stayed consistent!! Our visits to Udupi/Kundapur feel incomplete if we do not have a filter coffee and masala dosa at Parijatha. The sweets and savouries section of Parijatha is also very impressive. We have a fan following all the way in the USA and there is always a list of items to be bought from Parijatha during every visit. The parking facility is not ideal but if you're on foot, this location is perfect!!
This hotel is best for families to stay. The hotel has its own legacy and traditional values. The taste of the food is awesome. The mode of operation is only via cash and no card/upi is accepted. Customer services are good.
Their Masala Dosa is the BEST and all items in the restaurants are good. But surprised to note that they accept only CASH, No UPI AND NO CARDS that too in this digital world :-} . Staff doesn't have any answer for this .....
No digital payment options available. They are least bothered about customers. Attitude is like if you have cash then eat, we don't want customers without cash. Parking space is also not available. There are few items which are the best like badam halwa. I would not recommend this hotel, better to try something else nearby. Once this was a legendary place in Kundapura, now lost this status because of this attitude of the management.
Food is really good. There are many must try items, which vary day wise, pulao is must try, kotte+enne+pickle is Tuesday special, must try.
The first reason for the one star review is the attitude of the receptionist/manager, he doesn't bother about the customer, even not ready to answer the basic things. He told he is not bothered if customer don't come. Never ever seen such a head weighted egoistic person. Don't waste your time and money, better visit Vaishali which is very close to this.
You will be disappointed if you come after 6.30pm for having Masala dose. Better visit Pakashala nearby which offer more varieties
I have bought Halwa packets last month.They use food colour & also the halwa is very hard to eat.

One of the old favourites in Kundapura. Best place to chill out with friends to drink & dine. Try their Chicken sukka & Silver fish fry. Service is good. There is also a separate family section.
