Parakh Hotel, situated in Kolhapur, is famous for its Special Mutton Thali. I recently tried it, along with the Masala Mutton Thali, which featured the traditional Tambda Pandhra Rassa, Kheema Masala, Bhakri, and various side dishes. I found it delightfully spicy, and it brought tears to my eyes, but in a pleasurable way. If you enjoy spicy food, you'll have no issues with it. I was warned about its spiciness, and I don't regret trying it. The ambiance is pleasant, with ample seating, including a dedicated family section. Will visit again soon.

Excellent Kolhapuri Mutton. My favorite mutton restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant. There is plenty of parking. Tambada Pandhara rassa is an incredible duo. Must-visit for mutton lovers. I adore Parakh for absolute amazing food.

In my recent visit I was not very satisfied with the quality of Mutton Thali with Tambda and Pandhra rassa. The taste of everything even mutton fry was ok. I didn't really enjoy it this time. Lot of parking space is available. Usually there is a wait for 15-20 mnts. But anyways this is my favourite place for Mutton Thali.

This place is surely a pilgrimage for Kolhapuri mutton and chicken lovers. It's an old, award winning and the best restaurant for Kolhapuri mutton and chicken thali. Usually very crowded and you have to wait for a while to get the table. But the waiting is well managed. You need to tell your name and number of members to the captain. He will call out your name once the table is available. But the taste of the food is worth the wait and the money. Its authentic Kolhapuri flavor is out of this world. Although you get veg thali, it's the Mutton or chicken thali with world famous Kolhapuri tambda (red) and pandhara (white) rassa is what is highly recommended. Mutton masala, suka, loncha (pickle), green etc. The taste is excellent You get decent mutton pieces in the dish unlike other restaurants where they serve mutton pieces for name sake. The quality of mutton is exceptional. Soft and tender. Fish fry is subject to availability. Undoubtedly this is the best restaurant in Kolhapur for authentic mutton and chicken thali.
