Hotel Pandiyar Residency - Hotel in Thanjavur - Thanjavur, India

Few days ago stayed in this hotel, totally bad experience in terms of hospitality and moreover NO lift available and very difficult in claiming as the rooms are available at second floor and above. Not to recommend to stay with family. NO proper driver's room was provided.

A/C is not working properly. Instead, you can take a non A/C room, and Food Service is very bad. There's no patience in serving food in their restaurant. They don't have enough time to take orders as they have another work to do. It's just no worth for RS.300, but I've paid Rs.300.

Safe place to fresh-up with good food. We can taste soil special Sambhar Idli

Rooms are very small and average size beds. Price is too high for an A/C rooms while compare to other Hotels. There is a weird smell in the rooms. I would not suggest this place for family or aged or disabled people because there is a Bar in side of the building and steps are very big and also no Lift in the building.

I write this review with so much of bad experience i had by staying in this hotel. 2500 INR for 10x10 sq ft room with no lift facility, no intercom connection (the device was not working) , no hot water for 24x7, no recharge of tv connection, no chairs, no tea table, bathroom lock handle was broken, no proper car parking facility, no cleanliness. Staff were good but they are helpless to provide these basic facilities for 2500 INR. Infact I know I may get a reply for this review from owner that the points are noted and improvements will be done. For the past 4 to 5 years I can see same answer for worst reviews but no improvement. Don't only focus on making money, be loyal to the business and earn customers . As it's everyone's hard earned money. I will never visit again and will no recommend this hotel even for my enemy. Please see the pictures i had taken for all these issues. I had also explained this to the receptionist while vacating the hotel.

Standard A/C room is ridiculously small. Just enough size for a double bed and a tiny table. Washroom is okay but not that great. Won't recommend for family/elderly people since the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there's no elevator. It's a bar attached hotel, but didn't feel any nuisance because of it. Virtually, there's no car parking facility since they share the same area with a film theater which is on the same building. The only upside of this hotel is the distance to the Big Temple. Just have a few steps and you're at the big temple. Think of this room as a dormitory + A/C and you'll be fine.

Good hotel located in ideal location very near to Thanjavur temple. very old hotel bcoz i know this one for the last 20 years. good quality rooms and very caring staffs. easily reachable by bus train and car next to a beautiful theater bar and roadside idly shops and opp to many hospitals. you can view the temple tower in 100 mtr distance. awesome centrally located car parking traffic less area reachable anywhere from here and economical 24 hr Hot water

Please do not come here and regret. I am not sure why MMT is suggesting this... here is my review. Bathroom was very dirty. Room was not cleaned Bed sheet was dust so I had to use my bed sheet and blanket They won't provide soap, brush and paste. They say 24x7 hot water supply but it's not true. They just have solar and you have to wait until sun comes up in the morning. They is no staff to take care of our concern as available staff says that "I can't do anything or I don't know ". No lift service and rooms are in 2nd floor. You need to take our luggage through steps. There is no room service boy to help you. Extension won't work. You need to walk to ground floor for each and everything. Worst experience i had so far with respect to stay.
