Not a good place for stay... AC didn't worked.. Too costly.. Poor Service... Rates hiked within 5minutes 2000 to 3500 just because some other customer also arrived at same point.. Never Recommended... They take full money in advance so in case you had a bad experience in hotel (which i know everyone will be having) they have nothing to say and rude behaviour by replying on google doesn't makes your hotel a beat place to stay man... instead you must have apologised and i would have replied by stating that the owner apologised for such experience... But....now a negative rating *(-1)* Yeah all 200-300 negative reviews are false only...Right?? Less than 1 star...

They charge very high room rent but there's no service from room boys at all. TV remote is not working, A.c is not working and there is no House keeping service at all in this hotel. I called four times for water and AC is not working but replying all rooms are full difficult to provide service to rooms now.

Me, along with my family of 5 members, visited Madurai on 23rd of last month and stayed in this lodge for a day. It seems like the lodge is under renovation. We booked three double rooms and were accommodated in old rooms. Rooms were very congested, old and the blankets and pillow covers are filthy. Washroom is the size of a bath tub!!!Besides that, I felt like we were overcharged for such rooms. Since we were in a rush, we got to get into this lodge. Lodge people recommended hotel Sabareesh which is nearby since we were looking for a vegetarian hotel. Even the hotel food is not that good to consider. Later we found a hotel by name GangaGouri which is far better than Sabareesh hotel.On a whole, I won't recommend this lodge for families. This is suitable for bachelors.

Pathetic hotel with lack of service. Highly overpriced, and in addition to that they promised 2 rooms for a certain price and instantly when someone else came to enquire for 6 rooms, he changed the price for us and took 1200/- extra . I mean when u have quoted a fixed price and we booked the room after that within 2 minutes infront of us he modified the room rate...how unethical. Never ever go to this hotel

Well maintained neat staying lodge at heart of Madurai. Tarrif are moderate. Restaurant not attached. But room service is available. Very nearer to Meenakshi amman temple.

I had a very bad time staying in this hotel. Checked into this hotel as I had no other choice. We stayed in Room# 108 for 2 days 1) The room was just vacated and when I saw the bed spreads were not clean. They said they will replace them and they did not do it. After telling and paying 50 rupees the room boy changed all bed spreads. The hotel rooms are too unhygienic. 2) The room was stinking with cigarette smoke. Previous occupants had smoked inside the room. There is no category of smoking and non-smoking rooms. We all got throat infection after we had a passive smoking session :) 3) Parking was a night mare. Big cars it is tight to park. Parking is unorganized. I was asked to park in pathway and later at midnight 2am I was called to remove the car so that behind person can take out car. Again I was called at 6am to take out car for others. Horrible experience. Security is a mad fellow who does not understand what others tell. Manager and Owner does not even care! This was my last stay!! Would never return or promote this to anyone. Stay away folks for a better health, sleep and for a better tomorrow.

We checked in at 11:30pm, with no other choice we had to check in here. The hotel is under renovation and full of dust all around the place. The bathrooms are very congested. There is no proper slope in the bathroom and the water was stagnant. Room service is pathetic, there were cockroaches and lots of mosquitoes. Room is very congested.. the tv remote wasn't there and we asked for remote control at night and they gave us in morning after repeatedly asking.. the commode is too high in the bathroom inconvenient flush jet placement. Not at all satisfied. Only 1 rating for this hotel.
