This place is just above Osho veg. restaurant, on the main road and 3 mins walk from mandir South Gate (auto rickshaw people don't know Yashwant Guest House if you go from train station or bus station, so tell them Osho hotel). We booked a/c room for 4 people and 1 toddler. Room was good enough to fit 4 people, room had a double bed and 2 rolling bed with pillow and bedsheets. Toilet was big and clean as that was my biggest concern before booking as guest house and dharmashalas rarely have clean toilets. Had tv, strong Panasonic a/c and ample of space for storage and you can ask for free water from the caretaker. The caretaker Deepak is approachable and helpful. There are 2 drawbacks which I felt that as the property is old so there is no lift, elderly people will have difficulty in getting up and one glass in toilet was missing.
Ate dinner. ordered baigan bharta. wasn't authentic, but was alright. Decent food.

Walking distance from near west gate (i guess) Kohlapur Mahalakshmi Devi entrance. Once u come out, try sugarcane juice. When temparature hits 35+ its a must try - on the rocks There is very minimal parking, no a/c but variety and food quality was decent. Pure vegetarian and family loved it.
Food is not of good quality. vomiting and dycentry problem starts after consumption of food and this problem lasts upto 4 to 5 days. From this you can know how the low quality food is served to us.
It was great visiting the hotel but the thing is that its prices are overrated but you should try the paneer coctail with butter nan for sure !

Economical place to stay in Kolhapur. The best place to stay if you are coming to visit Sree Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple, which is hardly 200 metres away from the hotel. Good for overnight stay. Take assistance from the hotels guys for parking.
