Hotel Onkar Deluxe - Vegetarian restaurant in Kudal - Sindhudurg, India

We had lunch there when our bus stopped for lunch break. We had no other option. Pathetic place. Washrooms were filthy and unhygienic. Food was disgusting. Serving area was also dirty. Cats were moving in the kitchen and dining area. We thank God that we survived after visiting that place.

Fantastic, tasty traditional local cuisine. Place for both -- veggies and non-veggies Absolute value for money. Neat and clean place. For me it was an amazing discovery on Mumbai Goa Highway, especially when you are tired of soda based half ass recipes from all around the place and world..

Good food. Good taste. Nominal prices. Only thalis are available. Veg thali, chicken thali, egg thali, and fish thali. In fish you can have bangda or king fish. You can also ask for fish and egg curry with chapatis. Portion was good. Enough for one person. Sitting arrangements: two areas, one in front of the reception right at the entrance for about 20-30 people. Second one, in an adjoining room just ahead of the reception area for around 20 more people. Service was good and prompt. If you are in this area and looking for a good eating place, this is a good option. Highly recommended.

Inexpensive on the go stay facilities with plain jane restaurant. Best for marketing and sales guys and long distance travellers needing a night stay before heading off to their destination.
